For me, Millmoor.. I think the first outing was new years day 1990? One of the few 5 lost matches....?
On support club coach needing p*ss after a few new years eve parties.
Went a couple of times after....as I recall they had a Prince of Wales pub near Lady Diana pub and one of them went up in the 90s!
Also seen this fixture in Sheffield, trained it in from Matlock where I was based, and came out of the toilet (indoors and very plush) to see ball in net as Andy Dorman scored....we won 1-0.
I've never visited their new ground....any memories of Ellis?

Tidy stadium , Millmore. It’s still there you can go and check it out…I like it, good atmosphere. Haven’t been to the new ground yet but from the pictures I’ve seen it may well trigger your OCD. As for Rotherham …….Grim AF. Get the points and get the fk out of there as fast as possible…..try not to touch anything.

Can’t remember the year but Stefan Leoni .? (Spell check) scoring in a one nil victory. His only gas goal I think.

Andy Dorman 93rd minute half-volley in injury time at the Don Valley stadium in a 2012 dead-rubber is my fondest memory.

Saw us lose 3-0 at Millmoor, a grim ground next to a scrapyard or something similar. I saw the 1-0 win at the athletics ground in Sheffield in 2012. I remember asking for a scotch on the rocks at a nearby pub before the game and getting some odd looks from the barman and various locals. We seemed miles away from the pitch, but close enough to see Andy Dorman's 90th minute winner. He was pretty decent, from memory. He played in the USA after his loan with us ended.

Millmoor, 1971? Don Megson equalised with a header from a corner second half. 1-1.

Remember that.Really weird place that Don Valley stadium to watch a game.Should have taken binoculars.Great to win in the last minute though.
