Griffiths 9 excellent in everything he did bar distribution, which I’m sure will improve Moore 8 great signing Wilson 8 captain’s performance Mola 8 great signing Thomas 6.5 battled gamely, put in a shift as always but not quite his game Ward 6.5 still not quite up to speed but much better than last week and some good moments going forward, too. Hutchinson 6.5 some really good signs today of better to come Conteh 7.5 solid Bilongo 7 much improved defensive performance Sotiriou 6 not up to speed yet and foolish kick out - rightly subbed but early days and needs time and patience Omochere 7 battled well and showed some good touches
Senior Taylor 7 thou shalt not pass Garrett Lindsay 7 good energy and knowhow Martin 7 knows his role so well Sinclair 7 put in a good shift McCormick 6 worked hard, missed a big chance

Griffiths 9.5 m o m one of the best Keep performances in Gas shirt, thoroughly deserved clean sheet, only marked down for distribution as 3 of his kicks went into touch like a rugby match. Well done!
Moore 9 faultless. Wilson 9 brilliant captain Mola 9 excellent under pressure and switch to left side after Bilongo sub. Thomas 5 tough match they done a number on him. Ward 6.5 forced back a lot. Hutchinson 5 still not sure yet on his role. Conteh 7 made the tough buts look easy. Bilongo 8 nice again, keep it up! Sotiriou 4 a bit lost, needless booking. Omochere 7 again, shows promise.
Senior 7 decent in replacement. Taylor 8.5 nothing got past him Garrett Lindsay 5 ineffective. Martin 6 better than his replacement, nice to see. Sinclair 7 one great counter attack run, faded soon after. McCormick 5 missed the best chance of the match!
Ref 4 homer! Got so many little decisions wrong and felt at times like we were playing v 12 men...
Rotherham 8 physically strong team, they should be in top 6 on this showing and SE has built a good team, if they gel, they could be a force. Their number 8 m o m for them but did spend a large period of his play in the floor.
Jch one nice flick from set piece that caused mayhem but otherwise anonymous.
A very good away point and credit to everyone involved....we look solid and confident and the after show clap could attest to this. Nice one, MT...

Griffiths - 8.0 MoM. Difficult opponents for GKs as your subjected to a right physical bashing! But he was dominant and decisive and made 2/3 saves that were simply too draw.
Moore - 7.5} Wilson - 7.5} Mola - 7.5 } Marked all three together. Out of possession they were excellent. Winning battles winning headers and competing physically. In possession they are the root cause (other than opposition type) of a lot of the problems we’re facing keeping possession. Mola in particular gave the ball away too often with a pass completion under 50%. If we’re expecting players to be more creative we have to be better at starting attacks and this starts with who the gk gives the ball to first. However as I’ve stated in another post, much of the game was built around clearances and trying to pick up second balls so there has to be some balance in the comment.
Thomas - 6.0 In his defence the two league games haven’t been pretty and the war of attrition hasn’t helped our ball players. But he seems to be given lot of leeway by comparison to others but the fact is that’s two games in a row where he’s had less touches of the ball than any other player on the pitch who’s played 90 mins! Yesterday he had 3 more touches and played 1 more pass than Hutchinson despite playing 30 mins longer. Wasted a bit at wing back but I don’t see how else he gets in the team in this formation. Looks to have suffered the consequences of 3 straight 90 min shifts.
Ward - 6.5 Went a bit under the radar but went about his business in a workman like manner winning battles and picking up second balls. Great run and cross for Macca chance but needs to be better in possession really. I think Lindsay is a better footballer but maybe Ward more suited to the opposition faced so far.
Hutchinson - 6.5 / 7.0 Still settling in but yesterday was much better than Northampton first half in particular. His defensive work has gone under the radar massively and it must be frustrating to be a player who wants to get forward and spend time on the ball to be starved of so much possession in the two games so far. However he was involved in our two best moments, maybe should’ve done better with his chance (I think the ball was a little under his feet and needed a bit more composed) and the burst from inside our own box to pick up a pass from Conteh break forwards and release Ward was excellent. I like his positioning around the box (always in space) and found good scoring positions in both games. Yesterday Thomas missed two golden opportunities to find him first half which would’ve resulted in shooting opportunities.
Conteh - 7.0 Brilliant out of possession and won a no of headers. The game suited him and his strengths down to the ground and no surprise was one of the top performers. Needs to be better with the ball but his little pass to release Hutchinson was excellent and under rated.
Bilongo - 6.5 Again I think he ls another that has t received the credit he deserves for his out of possession work yesterday. It was a better all round performance than Northampton for him but as expected the win, the slightly fortuitous goal and the big happy smile kind of masked a few things v Northampton. Yesterday he was diligent hard working and an asset aerially.
Sotiriou - 5.0 Very surprised he was thrown straight in. He looked way short on Tuesday night and to expect anything in a game that was always going to be played at a ferocious tempo was strange. Hell get better a did expect another start Tuesday and at least an hour from him.
Omochere - 6.5 An untidy game from him yesterday. A real asset defensively and worked tirelessly but we needed the ball to stick a little more often for a little longer. Not sure he needed to have played so long midweek and wonder if that didn’t help.
Senior Taylor - 5.5 Came on to fulfill a role and a tactical change and did exactly what it says on the tin. Garrett Lindsay - 6.0 I like Lindsay and don’t think it’ll be long before he’s a regular especially in games where we’ll play more football.
Martin - 5.5 Good to have him back out there and he’ll only improve from hereonin.
Sinclair - 5.5 Added energy at a good time in the game and I can’t help but feel this may be his main role to fullfill once everyone’s fit and firing.
McCormick 5.5 Worked hard and got himself in a great position to score….but in my recollection that’s similar chances in 3/4games (inc pre season) where he’s blazed over the bar from positions where the very least you can expect is a shot on target.
Ref - 6.0 nothing too contentious but like many I feel he’s intimidated by Evans and his staff
Rotherham - 9/10 for that they do. 1/10 for doing it. I hate everything about that style of football.
