I cannot believe there is not a post already, he made several fantastic saves to keep us in the contest, and shows why the management team brought him in.
I cannot remember a keeper making so many point blank saves, when I thought oh no it's one nil, Nombe was denied about 5 times.
Thought we would lose today so well chuffed with a point.

So far it's a win-win move for all parties. Jed getting valuable loan experience in a favoured team and we've got Big Griff doing bits in goal. He's been stellar.
Could be better with the ball at his feet, but we don't need Neuer in L1.

The highlights are now on the Sky Sports app the double save must rank up there with Nigel Martin's best saves.
McCormick seemed to have a relatively easy chance to make it a perfect backs to the wall away performance.

He was but I take it hall is not considered good enough, need to get another goalkeeper in asap!

We don’t want too many more games where we are relying on the goalkeeper but a good one will make you 12points there abouts a season and theirs his 3. Good performance by him. He didnt have a poor game against Northampton he just made one mistake which am
ny player at this level will do.

Hes a great loan signing! Wish he was ours but hopefully Jed Ward will return equal or better by start of next season 👍

There are many reasons why a goalkeeper's performance could be considered poor - even if they did not concede a goal. Not saying that this was the case against Northampton, but the keeper could have been poorly positioned / made mistakes that lead to chances / gave away possession from kicks / etc All of which on another day might have led to a goal being conceded. |

According to Bristol Live JG "did everything well" after his shaky first 20 mins or so. He also had a good game v Cardiff.

Exactly, he's had 2 cleans sheets in 2 games, which we didn't do all last season but people will still find things to moan about. First game of the season so of course he mighy be "abit shakey" |

It does seem a bit strange that since joining he hasn't played one game. There again, I just looked at Chelsea's website and they have TEN goalkeepers on their books (not including the U21 and U18) 5 of whom are out on loan! So maybe patience in waiting for an opportunity is built into the DNA of goalkeepers generally. |
