"Many will be wondering how this move came about, but Nixon has revealed that Davide Ancelotti, the son of the renowned manager, attended a coaching course with the former Shrewsbury Town striker and subsequently recommended him to his father."

And well deserved it is!
We'll never know if he'd have made a good manager for us.

But the scouse mafia would not have been cleared out. Optics Rossiter was absent again from the Shrewsbury squad I note Finley hasn't been in Tranmere's matchday squad yet this season. Is he injured ?

Tranmere only named 5 subs yesterday.
And Shrews only had 6 - living up to the forecast of relegation favourites so far.

Well done and good luck to him. Stockport County /Real Madrid let me see…….🤔 I suspect he will be one of many, many coaches at the club but being around so much talent and the expectations that come with a club that size can only increase his ability as a coach and manager.
UTG!

Rossiter back to having knee injections. Looks like we may have dodged a bullet there.

Rossiter back to having knee injections. Looks like we may have dodged a bullet there. Noticed that. Also Sam Finley hasn't featured in the squad of any of the three league games that Tranmere have played ... guess he is injured, but can't find anything talking about it. and Connolly pulled off by Crewe when they were 4-0 down v Chesterfield (37th minute) and then dropped v Swindon.

Finley was injured in a pre-season game, you do have to wonder about Rovers and Shrewsbury medical experts if they both felt Rossiter was now over his injury issues.

Well the best thing to come out of the Rossiter and Finley thing is they both didn't sign for us, if we had kept them we would have started another season with half the midfield injured. Of course the Liverpool mafia might be out on a job at the moment and not injured.
