First game in 3 years for me. Havent been able to make myself go since my Dad Ray fell ill and then recently passed away. Taking my kids (aged 9 and 6) to their first Rovers game today in his honour. Have absolutely no idea who half the team are but hoping for a great day out. Hope you have a great day Dins 👍🏻

2-0 Gas. Two early goals and then a leisurely stroll in the sunshine.

Tough one to predict.
Cambridge only have 1 point from there first 3 games but will be buzzing after last weeks incredible comeback. The belief they'll take from scoring 4 goals and taking a point from 4-1 down will mean they'll come to the Mem full of optimism. It will also mean they're not likely to throw in the towel or capitulate if they go behind today.
Rovers have been solid if largely unspectacular so far. Just about deserved our 1-0 win against Northampton, a fortunate point at Rotherham, and then soundly beat at Stockport. We've also picked up a few injuries with Martin, Senior and Lindsey all facing some time on the sidelines.
I'm pleased with yesterdays signings but Forde will almost certainly not be available, and O'Donker will no doubt start on the bench.
I think MT will want us to be a bit braver and try to create more scoring opportunities but that could leave gaps at the back. For some reason my head is saying 2-2 but I'm hoping we might sneak it 2-1.

Lyndsey is injured and doubt Shaq was signed in time to play. Excited for today. early train in, LHG for opening then a little crawl up to BS7! 4-2 gas. It’s coming! Absolute train nightmares! Left home at 8.30am. Was due in at 11.36. Now going to be 2.08pm if I make the next 2 revised connections! (And missed out on oasis tickets but meh, saw them 3 times in the 90s)

433 for me Thomas and bolongo either side of Promise. Get our best attacking players up around our record signing and we’ll be fine this season. UTG.

I'm hoping we don't sit deep again first half like we did in the Northampton game where we looked like the away team. The second half was much better but we need to start games on the front foot and get at them. 🤞🤞 UTG 2-0 Promise to finally open his account.

Is that based on the one goal when he was thrown up front in desperation? I’m not writing him off but don’t see anything to suggest we have a great attacking talent on our hands……yet anyway.

Griffiths Moore Wilson Mola Thomas Bilongo Conteh Ward Hutchinson Sotiriou Omorchere
Something like this, I imagine (unless I have forgotten about an injury)
I would like to see Shaw get at least some decent minutes and maybe even start.
My prediction: 2-1 Gas, Omorchere and Shaw to score

Controversial from me but if Bilongo hadn’t have scored v Northampton he’d have been pretty average bordering on ineffective. The games he’s played since have been equally poor in respect of his attacking play and his best performance was his defensive work v Rotherham.
To suggest he’s one of our best attacking threats based on a bundled home 90th min corner is bordering on criminal 🤣

Why is Ward in the starting 11? He has been awful so far this season.

The road! That's where it's at...
Confident today...nice to see new signings on the pitch and old faces off..
Prediction: Gas 2-0. Billyongo and Promise . More cider than you can imagine. Good day all round.
Loving this one, UptheGas!

We know what Ward can do, so MT is probably trying to play him into form, which he wont do from the bench
