Looking at next weekends fixtures, a lot of the games are off in League 1. As we only have two players called up, we have to play.
Is it not time, to not schedule League 1 games, over the international break?
I would schedule the football league trophy games, over the international break. Most teams, make loads of changes anyway! Then I would say you have to play regardless.
Then the league games, could be scheduled mid week. Then fans know where they stand. A lot fans won't book accommodation or travel, in case the game is called off.

May mean higher attendances if those cup games were played on a Sat.
Expect some prem u21 teams may say but we have players away.

Way too many games get called off. Perhaps they should look at only counting a clubs own players and not loans or full internationals plus U21 included but not every age group?

Good luck trying to play Spurs etc U23 side during the international breaks. I also think it's time L1 moved to free weekends during the International breaks, we've no mid week games in September so the Barnsley games could have been moved to one of those free mid weeks.
On a positive note if did we manage to win next week we could well break into the top 6!
I just hope another Rovers player doesn't now get a late call up and the game is then postponed.
