On the Gas Guzzler forum they have the goals v games percentage after 100 games. Fair play to the person who sorted those stats.
No surprise that Geoff Bradford is top, but second all time is Matty Taylor.
Obviously it doesn't take into account what league we are in, sub appearances etc but very interesting all the same.
I don't have the IT skills, but well worth someone copying on here.
I suppose Les Bradd and Seatheringron? in the 60's beat that with 100 records but 100 games seems a good minimum, otherwise we would have Mark Johns in the top ten!

Mad that the only club that Matty Taylor ever won anything at hates his guts. Great legacy.

Harold Jarman surely should be amongst that elite list Yep; according to Wiki he scored 127 goals in 452 matches (0.28 goals per game) So should sit between Steve White (0.293) and Devon White (0.257) on that list

Jason Roberts just misses out on 100 game criteria with 48 in 93, a very impressive .516 rate.

According to Wiki Ellis Harrison scored 27 goals in 118 games so should have just sneaked into the bottom of the list?

Man for me Matty Taylor is one of the biggest “what ifs” in our history. Would we have got promoted that year? Would Darrell have kept his job longer? Would he be a gas legend? How much could we have eventually sold him for?

What’s more remarkable is that Bradford finished his career as a winger then a fullback. Peter Hooper was primarily a winger who had that one season where he was moved to inside forward then achieving his highest goal scoring return.

Gary Penrice would have been on there for his first spell. I presume his less spectacular second spell ruined his stats.

Struggling to remember but when he first joined from Mangotsfield was he playing on the right side of midfield before converting to striker? I think he also played deeper in his second spell?

Tom Nichols must miss out, as he only played 94 games 😋
I thought Paul Randall had a better record than he did. He always seemed to score when I saw him play.

Mad that the only club that Matty Taylor ever won anything at hates his guts. Great legacy. I certainly don`t hate him. I`ll always remember him for the goals he scored for us, regardless of his actions afterwards. To be fair, if he`d gone on to score the goals that took City up to the Prem, I might feel differently. But he didn`t.

Those stats probably make the Duke's record look even better.
Everyone else played when we had periods when we were very good, but Ellington played in some of the clubs most difficult seasons and probably made a large percentage of the goals on his own out of nothing.

Gary Penrice would have been on there for his first spell. I presume his less spectacular second spell ruined his stats. His first spell I'm sure he was played more as a striker and scored 54 in 188 appearances (0.287 GPG) His second spell I remember him as a midfielder and he scored 15 in 57 (0.263) Combined stats is 69 goals scored in 245 appearances (0.281)

Richard Walker second on the list for minutes played per goals in the Premier League. (Villa)

Richard Walker second on the list for minutes played per goals in the Premier League. (Villa) What list is that, as according to Wiki he scored 2 goals in 6 appearances, so wouldn't appear on a similar 100+ league games list for Villa and a 0.33 GPM wouldn't even get in our top 10.
