Mad that the only club that Matty Taylor ever won anything at hates his guts. Great legacy. I certainly don`t hate him. I`ll always remember him for the goals he scored for us, regardless of his actions afterwards. To be fair, if he`d gone on to score the goals that took City up to the Prem, I might feel differently. But he didn`t. Nah he is a c*nt and I for one hate the guy. He left right at the end of the window giving us next to no chance to sign a decent replacement, which then left us struggling for goals and completely miss out on the best chance we had to reach the Championship in many a year. Just as Lansdown planned no doubt.

Man for me Matty Taylor is one of the biggest “what ifs” in our history. Would we have got promoted that year? Would Darrell have kept his job longer? Would he be a gas legend? How much could we have eventually sold him for? I think this is why he gets so much hate. We were scoring for fun but a bit soft at the back. Sweeney and Lumley came in and we didn’t concede much but with Taylor gone couldn’t score. We had momentum until Taylor left. I still think we’d have been promoted that season had we not of been nobbled.

Tom Nichols must miss out, as he only played 94 games 😋 I thought Paul Randall had a better record than he did. He always seemed to score when I saw him play. As he often did! Sorry, that was a poor joke. Poor goal return but those who played with him, JCH istr, appreciated him more than the fans. UTG!

Jason Roberts just misses out on 100 game criteria with 48 in 93, a very impressive .516 rate. I was thinking, why isn't he on that list. If he got off to a better start, he would have been even higher. Him and JC must be one of the best partnerships for goals. If only they carried on for the last the games, I wonder where we would be.
