It does make you wonder how Mason Greenwood got a work permit as I assume the Spanish authorities could have used use the same argument, there are already plenty of Spanish footballers so why do you need to employ an English player. Did he sign for a Spanish club or was he on loan from Manchester United to a club in Spain?

Did he sign for a Spanish club or was he on loan from Manchester United to a club in Spain? Why would it make a difference as he'd surely still need a work permit if he was playing in Spain? I'd imagine France is no different anyway. Jude is also playing in Spain, so why single out a coach, I assume the argument is there's just as good coaches in Spain but it seems a bit narrow minded.

Bellingham was already plying his trade within the EU, plus he's a recognised international which helps any applications. That may well be the difference with Andy Mangan.

Mangan is European! Citizen of the European Union, he is not. Big shame though, Mangs deserved his break. Only to the English and the rest of the world. To members of the EU, we are not European! Spend a significant amount of my time in the EU and can confirm this is not in line with my experience.

More Skeletons than a Ghost train… Wonder if Stockport will have him back ? He never left. It was always subject to a work permit so I presume he'll just stay on as usual. Some blow for him though.

What a fantastic opportunity for Andy to live amongst the Spanish people. Learn the Spanish language, Learn Spanish cooking, Learn all about Spanish wine, Learn about Spanish culture, Learn about Spanish politics, I don't think I left anything out.

I remember seeing an interview Bellingham did saying he applied for an Irish passport to make the application process easier as they are still in EU.

Its the easiest way to work in the EU now, Bellingham got one and so has Conner Gallagher, it is a Brexit problem, European teams are only allowed 5 non European players and all non EU staff need work permits.

Only to the English and the rest of the world. To members of the EU, we are not European! Spend a significant amount of my time in the EU and can confirm this is not in line with my experience. From my experience, people from the UK that spend alot of time in EU fall into two camps: 1) Camp one, they tend to hang out in Ex Pat communities complaining about the UK and immigrants that come to the UK and don't learn the language and don't integrate with British citizens. The irony inherent in this group is lost on them. 2) Those that do learn the language and integrate into local culture and identity. Then there are the Europeans who are in the EU. They think that the UK are mental for Brexit and can't understand why the British are so upset about the deal we got as it was our choice to leave. Which camp does your experience fall in or is there another camp?

Married one of them, time over there spent with no brits for miles, if anything they feel sympathy that so many people fell for the blatant lies. Have never once been made to feel that I am not European.
