Bilongo had made two headers that were simply attacking the ball and a flick that he had no idea where it was going….theres been nothing about his game that’s been measured or deliberate in 5 games.
Certainly not made me think he’s a good footballer. He’s a runner who can head it.

Much better from us 2nd half and Barnsley were blowing at the end there, but overall a fair result.

We had two shots on target and one was the goal that was gifted.
I make that Griffiths been out MoM in 4 out of 5 games?

A decent effort and a decent start to the season but there are just a few players who aren’t up to it.
Sinclairs legs have gone he’s just not looked league 1 level since he came back, Cormick has been mostly sh**e for years , Ward is injury prone and whilst normally good when fit it looks like his legs have now gone too this season.
The worry is they’re all midfielders.
But overall I like the look of our squad I think we’ll finish higher than last season.

The ref takes 30 seconds to book their player in injury time and then doesn't add it on. We probably wouldn't have scored anyway, but it's frustrating when he's the one that stops the game.
We did okay during the 2nd half. Promise was unlucky with the header and Sinclair should have leveled it up near the end. We need to find a way to win away from home.

Not sure we lost today due to Bolingo, as a squad we simply weren't good enough, apart from the the PC header I don't think Barnsley's dodgy keeper had one save to make. It's going to be another long season if we're second best again at every decent away side. |
