Griffiths - 8.0 another MoM performance from our GK even though it’s the creative players who are the problem….

Moore - 7.0 very tidy 1v1 defending especially up against Keillor-Dunn who was excellent for them first half in particular.

Wilson - 7.0 solid and dependable

Mola - 6.5 thought our left side was pretty exposed most of the game tbh. I’m not sure how much help he was getting from Bilongo but that’s ok cos Bilongo can head it and runs fast with a lovely smile.

Thomas - 4.5 haven’t understood the hype around his supposed good form tbh. Played well last week v Cambridge, but this week he was below the level of games v Rotherham and Stockport where I felt he contributed very little anyway.

Ward - 5.5 probably the most productive of the midfield 3 without ever being great which says it all tbh. Got better second half.

Garrett - 5.0 seen nothing to get me excited. Did ok last week but I was never in the camp that some got carried away with due to the level of opposition. Ok playing 10 yards passes to the guy next to him but I don’t see him scoring or creating which means he has to be bloody good at defending….and I’m not sure he is.

McCormick - 4.5 shocked that he was brought in tbh. I’ve seen nothing pre season or in his sub appearances and he was non existent v Tottenham. Why spend all pre season playing him or bringing him on as a striker and then give him his first start in midfield? How he lasted 70 is beyond me.

Bilongo - 5.5 his best game was Rotherham. Forget the goal, that masked an average performance and I’ll be slated for it but I’m not sure he had much idea about either of his assists tbh. Good in the air and runs a lot but how much quality does he have?

Sotiriou - 6.5 alert for his goal and you have to give him credit for that because he wasn’t going to have much else created so had a thankless task.

Omechere- 7.0 led the line and his hold up play and endeavor in the physical battle was to be admired. He was for forward equivalent of Wilson at the back.

Sousa - 5.0 have no idea if he was meant to have an impact or whether MT was fed up with BB? Maybe like the others, MT just feels it looks good to use all your sub allowance?

Shaw - 5.0 no disrespect to Shaw he’s a young lad with huge potential but coming on at 1-2 and picking the ball up deep to play some neat passes was all Garrett had done all game. I believe he will be a good player but for MT to look round at 1-2 and see a player with 50 goal involvements in his last 100 pro games sitting alongside a 17 year old and choose the 17 year old is just odd.

Sinclair - 4.0 came on, made one pass and missed the best chance we had. Odd sub to make other than LT was so poor.

ODonkor - 5.0 played 30 mins. Touched the ball 15 times gave possession away 7 times. No real impact.

Forde - 5.5 did ok. Looks more of a winger tbh. Which sounds about right given that so was Promise and so was Thomas and that we don’t play with wingers 🤣

Ref - 6.0 no big deal

Barnsley 6.5 outstanding for 45 and took their foot off the gas for 45. Looked like what I expect from a league 1 side and that’s organised and identifiable patterns and shape with an identity. Davis Keillor Dunn ran us ragged first half and Sam Cosgrove was outstanding for most of it although we got to grips with him as the game went on. Not as good as Stockport but better than Rotherham Northampton and obviously Cambridge.
