Has anybody changed their travel arrangements for HOME matches this season? The future enlarged stadium is likely to provide less on-site car parking provision. Plans are definitely afoot to provide more and better cycling facilities. The proposals to provide an e-scooter "travel hub" is a positive step forward. Ashley Down station, a 15 minute walk away, is due to open in the near future. Filton Abbey Wood rail station is available already. A surprisingly large number of trains, from many directions, are going to stop at the new Ashley Down rail station. It is possible that there will be an expansion in AWAY fans travelling by coach if capacity increases. This will further decrease the availability of parking spaces for HOME supporters. Revised bus timetable changes mean that large numbers of buses can be used in Filton Avenue and nearby on Gloucester Road. Possible pre-match and post-match road closures for the anticipated larger attendances will also impact the use of private motor cars. If you have not changed your travel arrangements this season it could be worthwhile the club understanding the barriers. If you have changed your travel arrangements for HOME matches this season it could be of interest to other supporters knowing how it is working out. Genuine question did you see the little 20 second video on YouTube about league one teams enlarging their stadiums? Are we really just copying the south stand with its pillars in the line of sight? I thought the south stand was like it is because it is supposed to be “temporary “ Not a cantilever in sight Looks non league to me hey ho probably won’t happen anyway UTG

I noticed a load of e scooters by the ticket office yesterday. Have they always been their? The only time I got an e scooter to the game, I had to park it by the church on Gloucester road.
Just remember that drink driving on an E Scooter can result in you losing your driving license.

Thanks I was hoping someone might say that it was underwhelming especially when compared to other league one teams plans

Bl00dy stupid idea if you ask me but somebody clearly uses them.

"When you’re done, park in a designated parking spot or find a safe place on the pavement away from pedestrians."
Seems there's nothing stopping a user just leaving them anywhere they consider is a "safe place".

"When you’re done, park in a designated parking spot or find a safe place on the pavement away from pedestrians." Seems there's nothing stopping a user just leaving them anywhere they consider is a "safe place". When I used one, it was under Voi and you had to leave it in a dedicated parking zone. Tier, the new operator looks to be the same: www.tier.app/en/blog/how-to-get-the-most-out-of-the-tier-app-for-first-time-users-in-bristol-and-bath"When parking users must be in an approved parking bay as marked by the white and blue parking location icon in the TIER app. Our parking verification system combines location data from Google with our own high quality mapping data. Users are asked to scan their surroundings to confirm that they are in a parking bay and can end their ride."

Step 7 on "How Tier works" states something different.
Perhaps the Tier app shows a blue circle near the ticket office, or a rider can just dump them where they want, they clearly left them there for some reason.

The stadium capacity will only rise to around 18000, but admittedly probably reducing parking space.

I assumed they left them there as they had set up a parking zone there. My question (badly asked, I admit) was is this parking zone new this season or has it been their a while?
