Do Carlisle have money? Isn’t Taylor contracted until 2027? Wouldn’t be fussed either way, just seems weird. Very Rovers

Taylor from Chorley and Friend spent a lot of his career in Boro, where his wife is from. Might make sense geographically for them both and don't Carlisle have new American owners looking to splash the cash? Aside from a few random links, it doesn't make a lot of sense...

Taylor from Chorley and Friend spent a lot of his career in Boro, where his wife is from. Might make sense geographically for them both and don't Carlisle have new American owners looking to splash the cash? Aside from a few random links, it doesn't make a lot of sense... Either way, they are saying a compensation package has been agreed so I’m guessing we will know before Posh. Crazy if true. Why MT? |

I don't know the guy and have absolutely no reason to dislike him. He comes across as a thoroughly decent guy. I just rather doubt his ability. I sincerely hope I'm wrong. |

What's there to like about him, when we've had 10 months of watching us mainly lose games, Saturday ranking has one of our worse ever home performances.
Dropping down to L2 seems an odd move but we've had in it the past with GC and perhaps GF & MT also want to move closer to home, assuming they are both still based there and not in the west country.
It's so bizarre, and so Rovers, there might be some truth in it, as who'd ever make up such a rumour!

I was under the impression that MT had located to Devon years ago and did not relocate to Rotherham. Rovers suited him to get back nearer to Devon. Just my impressions. And I thought GF was from the West Country. Whatever, this looks like some kind of windup |

Surprised GF is prepared to jump ship so soon after getting his DoF role, although perhaps he's used that to get the job, if it's true it's strange they both did the Fans Forum last week, although perhaps that's why it was done with so little notice! Hopefully Carlisle will be told to do one as well rather than get the caretaker role. |

Got to give credit to the owners on this one. If we appointed Mangan a year ago, many would have been disappointed. We brought in Taylor, sold him to Carlisle and the same day Mangan has had his work permit denied, suddenly Mangan will be considered a coup.
