MKs fans are all plastic. No history or legacy to the club. Atmosphere in the ground is like an MLS ground. I wouldn’t be the slightest bit interested in being involved in a club like that. But then we’re all motivated by different things. Fanatic stadium, that's it. In a shopping mall, 30+ minute walk from a train station and - IMO - less than 6k regulars For a big place they seem to have failed to get a large amount of locals on board. TBH fair play to those that do go, must be difficult to support a 'new' club with no history. Much to AFC Wimbledons delight I hope. Wimbledon haven't capitalised on their new stadium opportunities and moved on ahead of MK Dons. In fact they've both been pretty awful the last few years. To be fair it's not the most attractive new stadium and not a patch on MK Dons', but it is in London and should be a money spinner.

The JBFC (Joey Barton Fans Cult) out in force and loving this rumour I see. Clearly, its a load of tosh. Why would they leave after rebuilding for a bottom League Two team. I'm happy with Taylor, trusting his process. Shame he doesn't slag off his own players and other teams to keep the JBFC happy eh? Oh the good old days. Some fans need to get a grip. And of course you don't need to

Why do you say that? They have the infrastructure that we don't. Our fan base consists of around 6k fans and 32k plastics, probably pretty similar to MK Dons. MKs fans are all plastic. No history or legacy to the club. Atmosphere in the ground is like an MLS ground. I wouldn’t be the slightest bit interested in being involved in a club like that. But then we’re all motivated by different things. Didn't they win the FA Cup by beating Liverpool?

Didn't they win the FA Cup by beating Liverpool? Yes they did. Most their fans boycotted and started a new club, at the majority of people don't count that as their success. They started as a new club, in most people's opinion.

A guy I worked with for a few years supported MK Dons. Spoke to him a lot about it. It’s quite interesting… there are A LOT of Wimbledon old boys who did choose to follow the club to Milton Keynes and still do support MK Dons. A lot more than you would ever expect!

It was "his team" after he took over as manager of the football club and the results AND performances since then have been appalling. Tactically inept and I'm not even sure what are we good at under Taylor?

We are averaging over a goal a game.

Only if you round up 0.7?
The stats really tell us what we already know, that we're boring to watch under MT and are hovering just above the relegation zone regarding PPM.
As mentioned early in this thread JB was dismissed last October for a similar poor performance. Only Mangan has managed to achieve a reasonable PPM in the last couple of seasons.

What's there to like about him, when we've had 10 months of watching us mainly lose games, Saturday ranking has one of our worse ever home performances. Dropping down to L2 seems an odd move but we've had in it the past with GC and perhaps GF & MT also want to move closer to home, assuming they are both still based there and not in the west country. It's so bizarre, and so Rovers, there might be some truth in it, as who'd ever make up such a rumour! I think his overall record is pld 34 W 12 D 4 L 18 . This gives us 40 points from 34 games. If true ( someone needs to check) it will place us roughly 15th . We can safety say there is little improvement from Barton maybe very marginal. My record was based on leauge games. This have been confirmed Pld 34 W 12 D 4 L 18. Click below for article . footballleagueworld.co.uk/george-elek-issues-damning-bristol-rovers-criticism-after-wigan-athletic-defeat/

Supporters cry out for a longer term more sustainable approach. 6 games into a new squad and the knives are out. Not sure why people think we have a good fanbase anymore. Social media and everyone being a stats expert have killed all the fun.

Social media and everyone being a stats expert have killed all the fun. Not sure spending over £1m on untried youngsters is anymore sustainable than JB's approach? The same scenario applies if the players don't perform then they become worthless. Regardless what evidence is there MT is capable of getting a L1 side to perform, we could give him 5 years and still struggling at the bottom of L1 or even worse. It's not just 6 games it's been virtually the same since MT arrived, the big concern is how poor we were on Saturday when we've played around 10 games including pre-season friendlies and cup games, Rotherham had a similar rebuild and they are topping the chances created chart.

Tactically inept and I'm not even sure what are we good at under Taylor? Like when Joey took us down? Why not try to be a little more forward thinking eh. Things ended up pretty good on the pitch under Joey didn't they really. Now we have another guy who's trying to put his spin on it, with something which we haven't had for a long time, a long-term plan on the pitch and a clear business vision in terms of player assets. Saturday was awful but the games before that were positive actually. We've looked pretty good. Big picture thinking. I fear for some people, if you open your mind too much their brain will fall out.
