it 2006 we last beat Posh away so if we come away with a point it would be a great result but realistically we are likely to be well beaten but we will see🤞

A tough game but one we can win Peterborough played 5 7 points scored 7 conceded 7 No reason for us/the team to be scared of a Peterborough team that have had a poor/average start. If we were to win, people would probably say Fergusons job is in trouble. Let's hope we can get something to click today. Have you looked at their fixtures? They've played mostly top 6 sides when they played at Shrewsbury they won 4-1 and also won 2-1 at Exeter. This fixture will be just as tough as our first 3 away games, if not harder.

Passing accuracy is quite different also.

Yes Topper we all know it’s going to be tough just as it always is for us at the posh. But if you haven’t got hope what have you got? 🤷♂️ But it’s football and you never know, last week might just might have given them the kick up the arse they needed! UTFG! 🙏

I would be happy with a 0-0 draw today. A heavy defeat would lead to more calls for Taylor to go . Taylor has averaged 1.18 points per game since joining us, that would give us 54-55 points at the end of the season and keep us up. Rather that than see him sacked like Garner was when we were out of the relegation area, bring in a new manager and finish the season bottom . We need to stick with Taylor for the time being and hope things pick up . We will need some experienced heads on the pitch today.

UTFG! 🙏 My post was in response to PP suggesting Posh had had a poor start when they clearly haven't, they've just had a tough set of fixtures. The hope today is that we score an early goal then dig in for a win or draw. If Posh score first the fear is that heads will drop again. Personally I'd start Shaw and just tell him to get stuck in, if we start off like we did at Barnsley then it'll probably be 2-0 before we get going.

I drank copious amounts of Hecks Farmhouse Cider yesterday from the local Cider Farm here in Street......does that count? I've never done drugs in my life, it also ended my Sisters life back in 2020

Time to throw the form book and the history books out of the window.
A 94th minute own goal by Posh will seal a magnificent comeback for The Gas.
4-0 down at the interval. Three successful penalties and a 37 metre spectacular equals the score.
5-4 it is then. Not bad.
Or.... maybe not.

We need width in attacking areas. We create bigger all because we’ve got no options in the final third.

DH has gone, man for man, the team I think posted on the build up thread:
JG
JW, CT, CM
JL, KC
LT, GW, BB
PC RS
Although I'd now change it and start Shaw over either LT, if he can play WB, or RS if he can't.

The Rovers always seem to get dicked on my birthday weekend so can’t see anything other than a heavy defeat but I’m hoping for a reaction after last weekend so hopefully we can snatch a point or three. Happy birthday mate have a good one UTG
