I agree. He needs a little more time to bring the change we hope to see. We played much better when Grant Ward came on. Him and conteh are a good combination. One thing I know is that Matt Taylor is possibly one of the most disengaging characters to run our football club. He struggles to emotionally connect in interviews or emotionally connect with fans. His interviews are dire. I wonder what he is like in the changing rooms or around the training ground. I would hope he was inspiring but I fear not. Too be honest, he didn’t inspire fans when I saw him at the summer friendly in Spain. Walking past 40 fans with no acknowledgement. I wait a little longer and remain hopeful. but loosing patience with the post match low key manager comments. Can’t imagine how this works in the changing rooms. Over to Matt to inspire everyone. It must be challenging living with such blind optimism and absolute faith in our prospects for success, followed by the inevitable disappointment and sadness as it all unravels. Manager after manager, year after year. That's how it is for smallish unsuccessful clubs - in other words almost all football teams. You should learn to temper your expectations Rich. I watched the extended highlights yesterday and the thing that struck me was how poor Connor Taylor looked. Totally appreciate he isn’t match fit but he looked slow and uncommitted. For the goal coming from the Wilson pass he jogged a bit then gave up and the one on the near post he was again slow and position was all wrong. I’m hoping it’s match fitness but I really thought he’d come in and not be far off it. Perhaps the injury is still not right. Perhaps the young chap from West Ham could come in he’d probably have a bit more pace and strength. I wonder if he’s not at it in training, hence not getting into the squad. Can Forbes really be worse than the defenders who've now let in 9 goals in 3 games? |

Club Captain is the one one who basically does all the admin for the players, and any issues have to Go through the Club Captain and he goes to the MAnager. So Basically anything the players want have to go through Scott first. Its so the manager is not bombarded with questions or asked to do menial Things that also Scott can direct through other people. Also means if any of the players need Tickets for Family, Friends ETC They go through Scott and he will give numbers to the Club to sort for Game day. So its more for the Players Sake than the Clubs. |

It says everything that James Wilson is team captain. What a joke that is. Disappointingly the lack of leaders issue was not addressed in the summer.
