“Kofi Shaw was a bright spark in the first half”
I’m not knocking kofi but that’s a grown man playing self preservation.

Only saw the last 20 minutes, so not in a position to pass judgement, apart from being impressed with what I saw of O'Donker.

“Kofi Shaw was a bright spark in the first half” I’m not knocking kofi but that’s a grown man playing self preservation. You criticised Matt Taylor for taking Kofi off 'He’s not ready for this yet (he will be) and MT has hung him', but now you're criticising him for sticking up for Kofi. A big moment in Kofi's career today with his first league start. He would have probably been disheartened by his substitution, but Matt Taylor has defended him, pointing out he was not helped by those around him (no platform) to perform. That's not hanging him out to dry. That's protecting a young prospect. A young prospect that was given an opportunity, that did not quite work out. A young prospect that was given an opportunity, that did not quite work out, but will have more opportunities to come. Seems like sound management to me.

No its not it’s protecting himself for looking so bloody stupid to throw him on too early to prove god knows what point to who. He didnt need to say anything and if he felt the need he should’ve played it down rather than patronising people with over the top praise.

I think the 2 goals may have kept him in his job another week, don't get me wrong I like him as a person but not as our manager

I don’t even like him.
Have you not noticed how he rarely shakes hands with subs coming off?
And I keep going back to it the randomness to his selection and his subs in regards to who starts, who isn’t in the squad and who does or doesn’t come on is nothing short of bonkers.
Garrett was god two games ago. Didn’t even get off the bench. McCormick was nowhere then started then didn’t get of the bench then does….
No wonder players look like they have no clue what to do.
The commentator said today, they look like a side who has no idea who’s doing what. He was bang on. Even late on it was just random attacks with no real pattern at all.
My bet is we’ll see an even more direct team over the next two weeks.

Why ? A new manager wouldn't be as incompetent as this joker . Hands in pocket . No inspiration. Act b4 too late Last week posters were moaning he was over coaching from the touchline? We sacked BG and brought in PT, then JB, but still got relegated, unfortunately there's no guarantee a new manager will do any better with the same players. Although at some point the owners will have to act.

Think when he is still giving instructions. Please show me otherwise.

Just something I noticed really. Particularly when Lindsay came off today. Struck me as odd.

Calm heads needed. This might be the moment when the team takes this learning, clicks and makes us happy.. Really Rich we have just conceded 7 goals in one and a half games against a bunch of kids and a team that hadn’t yet won at home. Two freak goals in a minute doesn’t hide the fact we are sh… You might be right. I’m staying hopeful for a little longer.

He didnt need to say anything and if he felt the need he should’ve played it down rather than patronising people with over the top praise. He was asked a direct question about Kofi: 'And Finally, Kofi, his first league start, how happy are you for him?' I did not feel patronised. He mentioned that it was a great moment for him and his family (which it was). Stating that he was one bright spark, but struggled a little due to no platform provided by those around him, is certainly not over the top praise. It seems clear that you obviously do not like Matt Taylor (no need to have mentioned it later) and that whatever he says or does will be criticised by you, regardless of the facts. Having an opinion is fine, but at least try to be consistent in your argument.

I’m always consistent.
I can like something and then not like another thing.
What is always consistent is logic.
Bit no. You’re right. I dont like him. I find him insincere and egotistical. His post match interviews are the Matt Taylor show and look how clever I am.

If anyone still thinks that James Wilson is the answer to the centre of our defence then they need to give their head a massive wobble.
Utterly atrocious defending today.

I’m always consistent. I can like something and then not like another thing. What is always consistent is logic. Fair enough. Point taken. You are consistent in not liking Matt Taylor. Or anything he does. Or anything he says. Whether he has actually said it. Whether he has actually done it. That's consistent.

No im consistent with my own standards and my own interpretation of what’s right and wrong. I’m consistent with what I believe is right and wrong and I’ll be consistent with how I think football should be played. Matt Taylor’s failing on every level so far and I’ve met him and felt the same.
