I’m always consistent. I can like something and then not like another thing. What is always consistent is logic. Bit no. You’re right. I dont like him. I find him insincere and egotistical. His post match interviews are the Matt Taylor show and look how clever I am. You seem to have a lot in common with him. Oh look how clever you have been If you think it’s a “look how clever I’ve been” then i must be starting to ring true with a lot I’ve said. Not a lot of which was flattering 👍

Not really sure where to start with that today. After 65 mins I'd have bitten your hand off for escaping with nothing worse than 3-0, Half an hour later we should really have come away with a point and with the chances we had could even have won. From the moment McCormick scored we looked a completely different side, whether Posh had subconsciously assumed the game was done who knows but we suddenly started to look like a side with a bit of belief. Unfortunately the absolute horror show of the previous 65 mins had left us too much to do. An awful lot to work on defensively before Wycombe, we've gone from looking relatively solid to a carbon copy of last seasons mess. Big week ahead

Been a Rovers fan my whole life as have many of you. Let’s step away from the Rinse & Repeat cycle. Our Owners have a plan that fits their budget, let’s give them the courage to stick with the plan. We will win, there will be success…the only unknown is time. As I sit here outside on a warm morning with the sun on my face and my favourite brew in hand……thinking of past glories and happier times. I will not falter. Football is a journey not a destination. UTG 💙

Strange how James Wilson played so good first few games of season and now has gone back to having an attitude problem and defending like a pub league centre back.

Still some early season strange results- the best midfielder in league one is subbed off halfway through a surprising home defeat by relegation favourites Mansfield. Collins still not starting for Bolton but comes on as a sub. Early pacesetters Stockport suffer heavy first defeat and at home. Still too early for us to be gloomy.

What was his excuse for the Wigan game where CT only came on at halftime anyway? How poor are Forbes and Ellison given the back line MT has selected have now conceded 9 goals in 3 games?

No Grant Ward. Same problems.
If we missed a signing this summer it was someone as athletic and dynamic as Ward in the middle.
Conteh is still learning the game. He's a player with good potential but doesn't get as stuck in as I'd like. Last season we really struggled when Ward wasn't avaliable but we had- Finley and Evans who had a bit of snap in their midfield hussle. And our form picked up when Rossiter returned and gave us that edge.
No point in pressing if its obvious that you're never intending to tackle. Players quickly figure out that they have more time than first apparant.

No its not it’s protecting himself for looking so bloody stupid to throw him on too early to prove god knows what point to who. He didnt need to say anything and if he felt the need he should’ve played it down rather than patronising people with over the top praise. He was asked a direct question about Kofi: 'And Finally, Kofi, his first league start, how happy are you for him?' I did not feel patronised. He mentioned that it was a great moment for him and his family (which it was). Stating that he was one bright spark, but struggled a little due to no platform provided by those around him, is certainly not over the top praise. It seems clear that you obviously do not like Matt Taylor (no need to have mentioned it later) and that whatever he says or does will be criticised by you, regardless of the facts. Having an opinion is fine, but at least try to be consistent in your argument. Having now listened to the interview I can't see MT said anything wrong, how pro footballers forget to turn up for the start of two consecutive away matches is a complete mystery. In both game they've shown when they do play they can match their opponents, so it's not like Man U v Barnsley earlier this week in the cup.

We seem to be suffering at the back as two players are so unsure of their positioning on the pitch. Taylor seems to have no idea where he is when the ball and players are moving around him. Griffiths although clearly a talented shot stopper suffers the same spacial awareness issues Taylor has. The combination means we're shipping goals for a pastime.

In two transfer windows we've signed Conteh, Lindsay, Garrett & Hutchinson on top of McCormack & Ward, that 6 L1 Cm's, Garrett and Lindsay were even Championship players last season. Hutch seem to be struggling to get up to speed but I doubt MT can take the blame for that.

Taylor is hardly a kid, surely he can work out where he's supposed to stand? Stoke probably regularly played 3 at the back being a Championship side.

Really Rich we have just conceded 7 goals in one and a half games against a bunch of kids and a team that hadn’t yet won at home. Two freak goals in a minute doesn’t hide the fact we are sh… You might be right. I’m staying hopeful for a little longer. TBH Rich I hope I’m not, but yesterday was awful and a 3-2 defeat was flattering beyond belief on the balance of play. Listening to Matt Taylor after just doesn’t convince me that he can turn things around and I wonder if he has watched the same game. However I can’t honestly say I haven’t felt exactly the same under previous regimes at the low points, my comments were in the moment. Ą couple of decent results and the whole perspective changes who knows?
