behind the scenes game tonight v chelts. Surely he gets some minutes if fitness is the only issue? Hopefully Forbes gets a run out too Wycombe have a huge cup game tonight too, hopefully leaves them a little worn out Would be nice to know if Jack Hunt, or indeed who else is playing this evening and how they do. |

The local press are pathetic. One straight question is: Is Jack Hunt fit or out of favour? If you look at training video from last week, he is doing sprints. We lose Senior and Moore, yet he is not picked or on subs bench. My conclusion: he is out of favour, but none of the local press are "brave enough" to ask the question. They're never going to ask a difficult question that (yes) is in the public interest but puts the manager on the spot. They're not journalists any more they are just third-party PR.... Don't think they're there just for PR for the club, more a case of an inexperienced youngster who is working for a crap paper that is slowly going down the drain, with not much guidance I would imagine seeing as they've just binned the main sports editor. |

Apparently our goals were scored by Isaac Hutchinson and second year scholar Brooklyn Leipus.
Leipus is a second year scholar and Lithuanian youth international.
Hunt did indeed play.

Let's hope differences are sorted and he is fit and ready to play. And stays fit.
Whilst 3 at the back was working pretty well and the back 3 all performing, a move to a back 4 wasnt necessary. But with Moore out and some very poor individual and collective performances in the last 3 games, it seems past time to try it.
Hunt at RB and Mola at LB are the only current options though (is Guinness-Walker still available?!). Sousa and Bilongo too attacking for the position currently.
But which 2 CBs can perform? Taylor and Wilson doesnt seem to be right. Maybe Taylor and Forbes? Until Moore is back.
Then as Igotgas and others have said, we need to find our preferred midfield quickly. For me at home it should be Conteh and Ward (if fit) with Lindsey as a back up. Then hopefully Hutch ahead (but Garrett, McCormick and Shaw still in with a shout).

Hunt and Wilson both seem to get a disproportionate amount of bollocks from fans (this thread included). |

I messaged Jack the other day on a verified account of his, saying that hopefully he would be back in the team soon.
He replied:
"Thanks for the message. I hoped so too mate but I’ve been told that’s never going to be the case. I always want to give my all for the football club 👍"

This is outrageous. What has he done?
I suspect that any new appearances will lead to a contract extension, so basically we are paying a player (good money as well) to train and not play.
Some one can do the Maths and probably work out the threshold?
Dan Hargreaves - I know you read most of the stuff on here. I point you to the Lion and the Wizard of Oz, although a bit before your time. 😀
