I messaged Jack the other day on a verified account of his, saying that hopefully he would be back in the team soon. He replied: "Thanks for the message. I hoped so too mate but I’ve been told that’s never going to be the case. I always want to give my all for the football club 👍" Two sides to every story and we’ll probably never find out. Won’t stop people making stuff up though ! Shame as I liked Jack as a footballer. |

This is outrageous. What has he done? I suspect that any new appearances will lead to a contract extension, so basically we are paying a player (good money as well) to train and not play. Some one can do the Maths and probably work out the threshold? Dan Hargreaves - I know you read most of the stuff on here. I point you to the Lion and the Wizard of Oz, although a bit before your time. 😀 As he really played enough games to trigger a new contract, if so, the threshold must be only around 51% of competitive games played, if not even less? Meanwhile Hoole has made this weeks L1 team of the week, you really couldn't make it up! |

I always want to give my all for the football club 👍" If what he says is true, we have a decent, currently fit right back at the club, who wants to do his best for the side, but has been told that he isn`t ( and won`t be ) considered for inclusion. It`s not as if our defence is sailing through matches at the moment. Sums us up right now. |

If he's fit, wants to play, is getting paid etc but has been told that, theres clearly more to it. The only other possibility is that he's at some sort of contract threshold which will tie him in or cost a sum that the club don't want to pay. I'd gamble on it being something to do with conduct or attitude though. |

With Senior injured he should be a shoe-in at RB/RWB yet doesn't make the bench or feature in the EFL games. He has 25 appearances currently, surely there cant be an appearance threshold that low? If thats the case you would have thought they'd have got him transferred or loaned before the deadline rather than be stuck with a player, paying full wages, that they cant or wont play. Im sure Hunt doesnt want his twilight years spent away from the pitch, although he does seem to be enjoying his golf! |

Pretty crazy when we had to resort to playing a left (wing) back as our right back last week, when it appears as though Hunt is fit. Especially when we let Hoole and Gibbons go in the closed season.
Whatever the reason, performance on the pitch has to be the highest priority. Bury the hatchet and get Jack Hunt playing.

When did Hunt suffer is latest strange injury warming down, was that after a pre-season friendly rather than a league games?
Can't you only play for two league clubs in any one season, if so, perhaps it's Hunt being awkward, as he seemed set to play before his latest injury?
