If you read my contributions, this has confirmed my earlier suspicions.
This has nothing to do with MT. Whatever we think of MT, he is not going to tolerate this outside interference.
Maybe, his "honest conversations" with players covered this topic. Maybe he thought, to hell with it and picked him.
I am really starting to warm to Jack Hunt. He has played well in last 2 games and has a wicked sense of humour. The photo is clearly a p***-take. Even funnier that it has further rattled the cages of "some on here".

It’s not a case of Hunt pushing us over perse, he earns £5.5k a week and Abdul wants him off the payroll to bring us down to £80k He might think he's not worth the wages and he probably hasn't been most of the time, because he's been injured! But the manager should decide, who leaves. No club is going to match those wages anyway, if he doesn't play before January. He would need to play, to put himself back in the market. Or we would end up paying the majority of his wages, or having to pay him off. So it would February the object. Sounds like one of those rumors, that becomes fact. If it was true, would they not have sacked Taylor after the Wycombe game? He played Hunt then and he lost his fourth game in a row. On sacking him, not necessarily. It's not uncommon that a manager is given an ultimatum. Hunt was also used as a sub late on. Of course, its your choice in what you want to believe. It's very rare I post these sort of things, but when I do, it's because truly believe the source and it's always turned out to be true. Sadly I've heard of many many other things with these owners over the last year. If its all true, it would just depress you.

Also, if you look at the picture is it not from last season when he was number 42 rather than this season's number 32...? It's all in the detail.

We don't want the owners son getting too involved, but at the same time, if they were not taking an interest at all, we would be moaning about that! Only Taylor and the owners son will know exactly what was said, if anything. Unless one is them has repeated it to your source. Things get changed when it goes from source, to source, to source etc. Your source probably is genuine, that doesn't mean what they heard was accurate.

I've heard the same.
Seems Abdul thinks its football manager and I do wonder if Hussain's inability to get hold of his son, his mates, and their big shot egos will see some huge stupid decisions made, which will lead to our relegation.
Which is why sacking MT would also be a wrong move at this stage. A new man would come in and if Abdul doesnt like his decisions, then he'll be treated exactly the same and the new man would be someone of the quality of Gary Monk.

On team picking, I know that MT was told to play Javani Brown to increase the chances of being able to sell him in the summer!
I mean the fact the owners thought we could get a fee for Brown is hysterical in itself!

On a separate note, is he also in charge of the stadium and training ground plans? Are they affected in any way or are things still progressing? Wouldn't be the first time we were strung along.

He should know better? What to highlighting that his employer is not treating him equally to others? To highlighting that he’s been ostracised while at the same time been asked to show commitment to said employer and to give his all into saving the managers job? The only people who should be embarrassed are MT and whoever sanctioned it as being ok. He's being paid and should remain professional, not try and cause divide. Sounds like MT didn't sanction it though, so doesn't quite suit your agenda against him. Oh do f*ck off! I don’t have an agenda against anyone. I’ve got eyes and ears and I say what I see and say what I think. Good or bad. About anyone or anything. Hunt has remained professional. He’s not played but look how he must’ve trained in order to come back into the side and play the way he has. That’s elite mentality right there and a top top professsional. Also, you can see from team mates reactions there really isn’t any evidence to suggest he’s caused any divide whatsoever. As for MT not sanctioning it, he chose to make a stand 2 months into the season when his back was right up against the proverbial wall. He had nothing to lose. If he lost he was gone so may as well go by doing your own thing.

Then it takes time to build up your fitness, after a muscle injury. So he wouldn't have played until around now anyway. Which is another reason, why this rumor doesn't seem to add up. One poster saying one player had to play, to put himself in the shop window. But this time, they don't want the player put in the shop window. Hunts wages took us over the budget. Yet we paid a fee for a player on deadline day, taking is further of the budget. It all sound pretty believable 🤣. It's good his their source is in one to one meetings between owners and manager.

It's a wind up. 42 does not equal 32.

Weekly playing budget and transfer fees are 2 totally different things. I dont think anyone said he had to play to put himself in the shop window. What was said was that Abdul and co wanted Hunt gone because of his high wages by the end of the August window but getting injured in PS put a spanner in that operation.

So an original post that slagged off Jack Hunt, then became its all Matt Taylor’s fault and has now become its all the fault of the owners son! Am I the only one who has become a little confused? As someone suggested on page one of this thread it should be taken down, I for one would agree about that. This thread sums up Gaschat or should I say Gasrumour perfectly.

Bless Jack Hunt.
He was fishing and he caught loads of you ready to believe whatever conspiracy is presented next.
There are so many holes in these 'facts', its really having an impact on my trypophobia.

Not sure anyone believed the toilet being used to get changed.
Interference by an over privileged twat who sees Rovers as his plaything though? Highly believable.
My sympathy lies with Jack and in this instance, Mr Taylor.
