Roadman warned us all 6 months ago and he was hounded out. Just saying. Hounded out? 😁 By who? He left in a strop and is no doubt registered as something else now.

I don’t think there was any doubt that Roadie was well connected and sharing a number of inside scoops which were shown to be true. However it would be a stretch to say they were universally true. Right more often than not absolutely. But there were some things said which couldn’t have been true.
And he really did not like being challenged.

Not sure anyone believed the toilet being used to get changed.Interference by an over privileged twat who sees Rovers as his plaything though? Highly believable. My sympathy lies with Jack and in this instance, Mr Taylor. 🏴☠️ Course not. If they had said he had to get changed in the physio room, that would have been more believable..

Roady claimed the wage bill was being cut by 25% this season but MT has confirmed he's been given a similar budget to last season and, in addition, the club's spent £1m+ on transfer fees, there's no signs the owners are trying to cut costs. Perhaps the VP looked at the figures and decided £5K per week could be better used on a player who played more than 50% of our fixtures each season?

Some things don’t stack up. But a lot of what he said around MT being appointed, details on transfers, owners trying to pick the squad is seemingly bang on.

Mmm. If true it’s a tad worrying that someone other than the manager and coaching staff are ‘influencing’ who plays or at least trying to. Esp as Jack H was among the best players Tuesday. Hope that he can rise above it all and keep up the form and remain uninjured. UTG!

Particularly impressive since he won’t have been fully “match fit”.

What evidence is there he's doing that this season, surely if he did Hutchinson would be playing regularly? Somebody was clearly trying to undermine the VP perhaps it was somebody with an axe to grind as they knew they wouldn't be in a position of poor much longer at the club? We never heard any rumours in the past about how bad things were under Wael & TG? Don't forget Pirate was also claiming players wouldn't join us as they considered MT boring and we weren't paying enough, before we then signed 16 players.

He's on the payroll. He's the best wide right defender we have/ maybe in the league... He should be avaliable for selection.
Also right now, if Sincs isn't 10- I want Thomas 10- so there's a possibility having Jack involved improves us in 2 positions.

Don't forget Pirate was also claiming players wouldn't join us as they considered MT boring and we weren't paying enough, before we then signed 16 players. Hutch has also been injured... No one is trying to undermine anyone. Remember it's Hunt himself who has put the photo up on line, no one is BSing about him not being able to change with the 1st team. You have to ask why when MT has played him twice in 2 games...he obviously has the managers support. The only reason someone would be put outside would either be for disciplinary reasons or that he isn't part of the first team going forward. The fact we appear to have an absolute man child at the helm as CEO would suggest that he's in a strop because he couldn't get his own way on a) offloading him and b) MT playing him. The CEO needs to keep his nose out of 1st team affairs, concentrate on making the club a much better environment for staff so it has a feel good factor, making fans on matchdays have a good experience, ensuring that the commercial team are doing their jobs and brining in revenue and if he wanted to get involved with something, how about making sure the stands and seats aren't full of fox and pigeon 💩on a match day. He also has a stadium to plan and look after if the bluster is to be believed so he's got more than enough to amuse himself with without interfering on something he has absolutely no idea to manage or control.

Great player and we always look a better side when he’s on the pitch. With Bilongo the other side we looked more balanced. When fit, for the last 2 seasons jack hunt has been our best attacking player from right back!! . He creates umpteen chances probably more than our midfielders do. I agree We've always looked a much better side with him in it.

Roadman warned us all 6 months ago and he was hounded out. Just saying. Hounded out? 😁 By who? He left in a strop and is no doubt registered as something else now. Just been told I was mentioned and thought I’d drop a line to clear a couple of things up………hounded off the forum is a bit extreme but I was tired of the continual questioning of my knowledge and also being called Gasdust! And no I am not registered as anyone else, Mods will see I’m on my usual Gmail email address. I know things are not great with the manager and owners, from being a big supporter of Matt Taylor, I do question if he’s the right man for us. If we lost Tuesday night I had said to a couple of regular posters on this forum that in my opinion he needed to go. I was match sponsor for the Peterborough away game and what I witnessed was a side beaten because of the managers tactics, we have a good squad in my opinion. This said, we have gone the European/Prem route, bar Lindsay, MT has had no dealings with our signings or recommending. At Posh, no one from the club represented us, Barry Fry just smiled when I mentioned this, it gave a lot away to me! MT has rebelled against the new owners, they banished Jack Hunt as they want him off the wage bill, it’s not gone down well I am told. I think it’s a matter of time before he is sacked, only wins keep him in his job. The players given to him lack experience and know how, it’s why he said today he needs Chris Martin back for the changing room. He wanted the keeper in the summer we missed out on for his experience, the board veto’d it. They had team photos yesterday, none of the Kuwaiti’s who went spoke to MT, the players are saying within themselves how uncomfortable it is. Jack Hunt is universally liked in the squad, look at the difference he has made. The likes of Wilson and Sinclair are holding together, it was Wilson who did the team talk at HT when Barton stormed out after 60 seconds on his last game……..before Topper says I know Wilson, he accused me of being MT’s mate, I don’t know either! I have tried detached myself from the club in terms of asking what is going on, my support is no longer at the level it was for the club as in the past. I have my season ticket still, I’ve missed Tuesday night because I just didn’t fancy it, I rarely go to away games these days. The club feels rudderless, it doesn’t speak to the fans, it doesn’t feel like we have any Bristolians or anyone who really cares about it now. The manager is alienated regardless of what of what I think of his tactics and it does feel like we are a Championship Manager person playing with the club. When I started the Cellino thread a year ago re cancelling the team hotel for the Crewe away game, I regretted it but it does feel like this now still and my worry is we are heading this way. I think this will come to pass, MT will be sacked and a new weak man will come in who Hussain’s son can manage and dictate to. amp.theguardian.com/football/football-league-blog/2019/feb/27/david-hockaday-leeds-massimo-cellino-managerFinally, Grant, we have a couple of mutual friends, I hope you are well, no hard feelings, all the best, Paul.

From what Paul has said above, it just serves to reiterate what he and many have said for some time - the owners are out of their depth, don't like challenge*, think they understand football more than seasoned professionals and are using Rovers as a toy to boost their fragile egos.
Great (and not surprising) to hear that Scott Sinclair and Jimmy Wilson are leading by example, as I am certain will be Jack Hunt.
Ditto re: Mr Taylor's ability to get us anywhere, however I do feel sorry for the bloke and admire him for sticking up for his players against the petulance and intransigence of the owners. Good on you Matt.
No hard feelings from me towards anyone on a football forum! Good grief, life's way too short.
*Having had the distinct displeasure of working in Kuwait and witnessing how the "ruling class" treat anyone allegedly "below" them, this behaviour cones as no surprise. Awful, awful country.
UTFG 🏴☠️ (Welcome back Gasdust 😁)

Like Roadman, called him out a few years ago but came to my messages respectfully and shared some more news he didn't actually share with the forum that happened to be true.
Knows more than the rest of us put together I'd imagine.

When fit and available, imo Jack starts at right side of defence.

Thanks for sharing. It confirmed my suspicions of outside interference.
Although I am always guided by performance and results (call me old-fashioned), MT, Hunt, Sinclair and Wilson have really gone up in my estimation this week. Hopefully, this can galvanise a better (backs against the owners 😀) team spirit.
Most alarmed with info that there is a divide between Friend and Taylor. Unless they are very good liars, the impression at Fans meeting was that they were working closely together.
Appreciate the insight, so sincere thanks.
