Sigh. Sinclair and Donk played alright, not much from the rest. What is the point in LT being on the pitch, totally anonymous again Forde was no better when he replaced him and wasted probably one of best moves of the second half by getting caught offside. Forde doesn't look fit. Did he take part in Watford s pre season?

Just got to hope there are four worse sides than us this season. We are miles away from being league one standard. We've been on bad runs before with injuries to whole areas of the field, like when we had no fit defenders, but this is our best side bar a player or two. A few more weeks and we will be bottom. It looks like there's 5 poor teams in L1 this season, the other 4 probably have the smallest playing budgets in L1, it's shocking how we're under performing.

That performance was inept.
Off the pace, completely outplayed second half and a dreadful corner goal conceded.
We look completely rudderless and certain to be relegated on what we have seen so far.
Time for a change in Manager who has completely lost the crowd.

Forde - not fit Sotoriou - not fit Cherry - dropped O’Donker - could come good Martin - looked overweight and unfit Our striking options not helping!! UTG

While we can debate their winner involving a foul, let’s not forget that our only goal of the game came from a goalkeeping error - it looked like he mis-kicked his goal kick, which is why it went straight our player, creating the chance (nice finish though). I would have settled for a draw or an unlucky defeat if I could be encouraged by a good performance … but it wasn’t. I’m not one for wanting any manager sacked so early in a season but, as others have said, there seems to be no clear direction (other than backwards).

He plays 90 mins Tuesday in the Cheltenham game. Not sure what he did in that to deserve an opportunity off the bench today I really don’t .

In defence of them they have treated Taylor with red carpet treatment . On this one I don't know what else they can actually do. Other than accept things have got worst not better .

Matt doesn’t inspire me and hasn’t connected with the fans. For sure, borrowed time. Does any struggling manager connect with the fans? Not sure he’s ever connected. It’s not his thing.

Crikey Moses that was rough! Disregard all previous posts about staying positive, I’m a dreamer , but that was terrible. Came out second half with the intention of relinquishing two thirds of the pitch and clinging on, just bad! And they were bang adverage as well, wint be a better chance tobeat them. Crap!

From the Wycombe Fans Forum
***** Exceptional position holding by Lubala to take the keeper out of play at the corner. Didn't foul him, just kept his place and the keeper couldn't get round, allowing Low a clear run onto the header. Delightful...!!! *****
WILL WE EVER LEARN TO PROTECT OUR KEEPER AT CORNERS? A BLOCKER IS REQUIRED TO TAKE THEIR BLOCKER AWAY. SIMPLES
TWICE AGAINST WIGAN AND AGAIN TODAY.

I said two weeks ago that it’s a complete mess of MTs making.
The scattergun approach of who in who’s out who’s on who’s off who’s starts and then not on the squad or who’s not on the squad then starts is nothing short of embarrassing.
The players have no idea who’s coming going starting or finishing.
Some seem to have unlimited opportunities and seem untouchable regardless of impact…others seem to have one chance and then nothing.
There’s nothing even resembling a pattern and there’s no sign of a competitive environment where effort or performance is rewarded.
It’s a joke. I can’t wait for the post match interview where he tries to sound like an 18 year old uni graduate trying to impress people with his vocabulary while he makes no f-ing sense whatsoever.

Everyone knew Mangan was our Guy. Everyone except the owners. I think they wanted to move on from the Scouse MAFIA controlling the club, I can't say I blame them, they just went for the wrong replacement.

But, if we'd scraped a draw it would only paper over the cracks. I'm usually really supportive, but I can't see any other option that getting a new manager in now.

At least with JB and AM, we had something about us, we played with a tempo, the football was relatively attractive for league 1, now we are slow, predictable and short of having any idea in attack, we also can't defend very well.

Not sure how a ref, or TBone, could miss such an obvious foul, for the first goal LT slipped or he might have stopped/blocked the shot, MT certainly didn't get any breaks in the second half, that could well be his line of defence when he pleads with the owners not to sack him this weekend!!
