Whatever people say about formation, tactics, individual errors etc, I don't think this squad/backroom staff can be labeled as not trying.
We all know we have had better quality, better paid players who have gone through the motions in the past.
Whatever happens, no doubt that the 11 starting need our help. I know people will say the players should inspire the fans, but let's song our hearts out for the Gas tomorrow.
There are comparisons on here with Garner, but then we were not allowed at the Mem to be the proverbial 12th man. Let's help the boys from the first minute to the last.
There does not seem to be many new songs so let's have some from Twerton, or the Tote, it doesn't matter, just be loud and positive.

In my 40 odd years of watching, the last few years have been devoid of originality in terms of songs.
I know I sound like an old fart, but at Twerton we used to literally make up a new one each week!
Even if it was just singing the players name, I’m sure the atmosphere was a big part of why that team did so well.
Even when the football was poor, you could always feel that you were part of a special group that got behind the team.
Now we just sing Irene too quickly and copy the saints go marching in like everyone else (too quickly)
Rant over.

Well done mftc, I know the present situation is frustrating but we have umpteen threads, different titles ,same subject i.e managerial change, it's good to read one which suggests ways in which fans can help turn things around, I am sure the players and staff would be motivated knowing the fans are behind them as they strive to improve our lot, up the Rovers!

Alternatively, how about only turning up for the second half. This way the fans can't be blamed for adding pressure or creating a negative atmosphere. If the team are playing well and even winning, just go home or to the pub. You can still support thr club by buying your ticket or a pint in the clubhouse bar. The idea of turning up and getting behind the team vocally sounds great, but it won't happen because our fanbase is reactionary. The full suite of songs is complete before the first whistle, then it's just nervous tension with a few half hearted songs from a handful of youngsters.
Beam the match into the bars and watch it from there. The players won't hear the groans that way.
