Looks crap on the highlights with half the ground shut, don't understand the logic really,we don't shut it for Fleetwood or crawley etc,so why for a local Derby?

3rd highest crowd yesterday.
Reading had 3685 and Rotherham 2770. Wycombe 2765.

How much would it have cost the club to open the whole ground?
Some additional heating and lighting and stewards, but potentially a higher attendance and food/drink revenue to offset that, a better atmosphere (intangible but certainly not a disadvantage), and more goodwill shown to ST holders who can sit in the stand they like.

Not to mention, ST holders who could have stood on the terrace that they like.

I didn't go (for a few reasons) but one of them was the farce of getting tickets. I stand in the East (and have been in the west plenty of times) but kind of anticipated that the whole ground would eventually be opened when the club underestimated interest in the tie (especially with it not being a TV game). Could have bought a ticket last minute but looking at what I did see everyone was there was crammed in like sardines.
I am not against shutting parts of the ground for financial reasons (EFL trophy etc) but was there no one at the club (or adjacent to the club like the SC rep) to explain what the interest in this game would be?
