Me too, but he gets dizzy anywhere south of Birmingham and has to be returned to the north within hours.

Nigel played 630 games and 14 caps for England . His old man played 274 games and scored a fenominal 251 goals at an average of over .926 goals per games before a bad knee injury cut his career short. Played twice for England. Wouldnt we love a striker with half that average UTG

Phenomenal indeed.

Watched his pre gas interview. What a great speaker not like monotone Matt. Seems to know his players inside out and would imagine he's a great communicator. Would be difficult to get him out of his Bolthole but what a great Gas manager could he be with a decent budget. I find your comments a little offensive. He speaks calmly and clearly, with less of a discernable accent than any manager I can think of. You could write to the club and ask them to offer the job to Hugh Grant if it grates with you.

I’m quite happy with Taylor. To think some wanted Olly back 🙄

I still think we need a striker who’s going to get at least the minimum amount of goals required though. Martin is even more overweight than last season and that purple spell of scoring was the first in his career of that kind and Promise unfortunately looks like an average league 2 target man at best. The Cypriot I’ve forgotten his name hasn’t impressed either.

We listened to Nigel on the radio as we came away from Mansfield. We noticed he did not criticise the referee. Imagine Steve Evans on that disallowed goal.

Fair play to him, although it was a blatant handball but how many times would the usual crap refs we get miss that and give the goal? So fair play to the ref too 👍.

I'll say this again. The monotone Matt stuff is more a reflection of dimwits making it.
He's a serious manager, too many want a snake oil salesman. Who'll promote rubbish after a loss.
By all means criticise him for formation/ selection/ style. Matt just comes across as earnest to me. The playing staff are clearly on his side and that is what matters.
