Ironic that Rich is singing Labour praises on a Rovers forum, as if they'd put better controls in place then we might have never suffered the banking crisis and may well now be sitting in a rebuilt Mem still playing league football.
I still can't understand why Leslie seems to be totally ignoring the present situation with Sainsbury's, or perhaps she doesn't want to back the losing horse this close to an election?

Pretty desperate stuff or is it another reason why labour failed. Or did they. They made a difference to millions Labour did more for real people in real jobs than some can remember. Tell that to the people now earning at least a minimum wage( tories said it would create unemployment) Tell that to people who were guaranteed a doctors appointment within 48 hours now having to wait Tell that to the savers from all the banks labour bailed out when the worldwide banking crisis occurred. Without the bail out savers and banking system would have crashed. Millions need labour whilst a few need Tory policies.

What an unfair democracy we have:
An invoice has been uncovered showing that the Tories spent more than £114,000 on Facebook ads in one month alone.
We talk about the Tories trying to buy the election, but this is like nothing we've seen before.
The huge sums the Tories are spending on Facebook ads matter because they are buying their way into people's daily lives — using enormous donations from hedge-fund millionaires to put their fearmongering messages in front of millions of voters, day in, day out.

Rich does this have any real relevance to Rovers? Surely we need to keep politics separate from supporting Rovers?

Congrats to her, but as for politicians in general, they're all the same. I'm from the Groucho Marx school of thought "I'd never join a club that would have someone like me as a member". Don't belive in any of 'em. UTG!

Do please carry on Rich your ignorant biased comments are pure comedy gold especially on Labours handling of the economy. The facts remain that labour bailed out the banks with public money and saved the NHS and our education system and gave us a minimum wage and a long list of achievements that made a difference to the many not the few. At some point we will need to clear up the mess the tories have put us in.

The reality is the Tories cut spending to fund tax cuts and f**k up the economy and make the poor poorer.
Then Labour get in and increase public spending and f**k up the economy.
They are both sh**.
Politics is broken.

If you look at the actual effects of Labour's alleged overspending and tory cuts it turns out there is virtually beggar all difference. It's all pose and careerism.
