Time to drop players like Thomas & Ruel and pack out the midfield with more aggressive players like Howley, play Omochere & Harrison upfront and then just battle away for 60 mins, hoping the new lad brings some steel to our defence. Only way I see us getting anything today is if we get Omochere/Harrison to bully Lewis Gordon down that side and get a lucky break.

Looks a big, solid, physical lineup - feeling a little more optimistic that we might actually be able to compete today. Maybe get a 1-1? |

Before the lineup I was starting to think, ‘you know what, i reckon we’ll get a battling 1-1 draw here by raising our game. This team knows they have to step up today’
The lineup makes me shudder though. Mola again at CB. 3-5-2 yet again after failing the first 3 games. The midfield screams to me it doesn’t have the quality to control a game at all, based on the opening games.
Up top I have a little more hope, maybe Promise running off of Ellis flick ons? Promise was at his best next to Martin so this might work out ok.

None of those lads benched should have any complaints, especially Thomas and Hutchinson. No surprise he’s given Lopata his debut too, especially if he’s a physical presence. We need that.

In a 352 it worries me. Interesting sky think it’s more a 343. But either way you’re right - we need huge improvements in CM |
