Thanks for posting altyfan. He sounds like a fair and level headed guy. Just to say... We, as a crowd, are often quiet because we simply haven't been great this season. That might sound strange coming from a team with only 4 losses, but honestly we have really struggled and just ground out results. We've had a shocking 4 previous years and it will take a lot of success and love for us to emerge from that. The mass majority of Gasheads had looked at the form tables and knew that you were on form and no push-over. I don;t think that 'surprised' us at all. I think the best thing we've learnt from the advice we were given at the start of the season was to try to be humble. If we were still (??) arrogant I think we would have been on the player's backs when still 0-0, and missing chances. |

Thought it was a fair sssessment by him - whilst they didn't really test mildenhall you could never relax and feel they wouldn't get a lucky break through our scrappy performance and inability to kill them off through dominating the midfield and creating chances. Thank God for the linesman

Good interview, hope alty can get a few points off Barnet exactly what I was thinking yesterday night. Alty know they are good, we knew they were good. Hopefully Barnet won't realise. I would not be surprised at all at a draw. Allen tends to set them up more defensive away, although I guess that matters little at the moment as they are letting in goals home and away. |
