Andy Monks Board Meeting is def true. They are discussing the results of the investigation.
Rumour is Higgs to stand down but remain on the board, with Chris Jelf taking temporary role as Chairman until a permanent one is found

My understanding is that NH will vacate the chair from Monday however he is being pushed rather than doing so on his own terms. I fear the temp chair could be GoD and that this could lead to a real focus of rebellion from the fans.
I know that many will not work with GoD so maybe we could see Chris Jelf ( I hope) or Peter D ( hope not) step up.
I know Colin has been trying to broker a deal with new people but I have no more information as to who that may be other than it has been hinted at that one is/was very close to Gary Penrice and I just do not know enough about Penny nowadays to even guess who.
I was hoping that this would be an easier transition but it seems that a certain, fragile ego, is making it difficult.
I agree that if Nick does step down, that we still need him on the board. His body language makes me feel he has had enough though.
Worrying times but hoping for better.

Also heard a rumour that there are big things going on upstairs and as a result, Darrell Clarke has gone on holiday as he wants 'no part in it'. Again it's all chinese whispers so no idea how much of it is true!

A couple seem to have a hit rate of around 40% on what they say. We also have had a good few she teds get into this in the spirit of schadenfreude. However, their dies seem to be one person in particular, in the she teds camp, that does have very on point information & who was right at every step of the UWE saga. They are enjoying this very much. I can't help but wonder if one of our board members is passing information to this guy/Bird ? |

My belief is that he is involved because he is one of the few who has not burned bridges. It was a request that he help but I know no more. I would love it if he came back with Mr Turl and Kevin but I just do not see that happening with the bad blood that has been spilled. Colin is a lot more influential than many would believe but my understanding is that he is not prepared to have an active part. Let's face it, what man in his 70's needs the stress ? |

Hope the change, if legit, is someone to chairman with him focussing on stadium

If we are very lucky and Geoff can handle it then maybe we can get new investment from an experienced footballing man or group. |
