I know anyone putting this package together would be struggling. But are there any edited highlights anywhere?

Should be on YouTube later today or tomorrow. The club's usually pretty quick with it.

Christ. We are a long ball side Yeah, but if Steven Gerrard was doing it, it would be top football.

Quality video.
Just confirms that Mildenhall had nothing to do all the game apart from picking the ball out of the net for an offside goal.

Might sound silly and I'm sure a few Bristol sport ltd fans will laugh but I had a few tingles down the spine watching the last 30 seconds of that vid, hearing Irene and the talk of the barnet result. Exciting times round the corner, yes its the conference but theres something special about supporting this club on the extremely rare occasion we're winning games and have something to play for..

Christ. We are a long ball side If it means 3 points then are we bothered? We were forced into it on Saturday as Altrincham closed us down so quickly.

Christ. We are a long ball side If it means 3 points then are we bothered? We were forced into it on Saturday as Altrincham closed us down so quickly. And a 50 metre pass right onto the head of your own player, who then almost scored, is not a long ball, it's a long pass. If Pirlo had spotted that opening and completed that pass people would have wet themselves over it. ditto several of them to Taylor and blissett. some aren't so accurate of course but the phrase 'long ball' is often shoddily applied.

I'm not sure what's worse... the quality of that camera work or our shooting!
shocking miss from MT, he's at least got to get it on target. Everything else bar the goal was speculative at best.

Yep, definitely route 1! Not pretty but effective, with both Blissett and Taylor looking good with their backs to goal. Taylor's miss was awful. He made a very bad decision to take it wide and should have gone straight for goal. That way the defender would have had to ease off his run to avoid giving away a penalty and Taylor would have had an easier chance as the keeper wasn't in a great position. As it is, he went wide, realised he'd messed up and then snatched at his shot. This kind of decision making under pressure can be improved upon with practice. When he relies on instinct he looks very decent so we need to persevere! Having said all that, the Altrincham missed header was even worse than Taylor's miss. We were very fortunate not to go 1 down. UTG!

Wasn't at the game, but a few things are very obvious.. finishing and shooting in general looked absolutely terrible! The amount of times a winger or striker would cut in well from the wing and just float a pathetic shot at the far post well over was embarrassing! And that miss from Taylor in the first half really was dreadful, BUT, in fairness to him his movement to be on the end of the flick on was very good. Second of all the defending looked very good. It takes huge balls to step up last minute and catch an attacker offside, particularly when the player you have left behind slots the ball home! Get it wrong and you look fools, get it right and it is very very good defending. Also there was a moment late in the second half when Parkes intercepted a cross brilliantly well and then proceeded to stride up the pitch before spreading a fantastic pass out to the wing. Very impressive.

UTG! I agree most of our chances came from a long ball on Saturday but overal this season we've hoofed it a lot less than previous seasons. Opposition fans usually say that we keep the ball very well and play a shorter passing game too. Whatever works on the day is the right way
