Funny old league this. Alty looked good last week. They might have been if they had had 11 men on the pitch for longer than 5 minutes today. Idiots.

so what? That's what the rules are for. To stop an unfair advantage. Otherwise players will haul / chop each other down every second of the game. Have you ever played football! Cue barnet fans saying we are arrogant / deluded. That's not really the point though is it? The point I'm making is that they've been incredibly fortunate that so many players have made such poor challenges/hand balls et all against them. I think they've been incredibly fortunate this season - far more so than any other team in the division. That doesn't make me/us arrogant or deluded. It's a fact that they've had more players sent off against them (i.e. have received a man advantage) than any other team this season - and by some distance. In my book, that makes them fortunate. No such thing as luck. It's just indicative of how attacking they have been this season and how much time they spend in the opposition's penalty area. Fingers crossed the Beard isn't too badly injured. Didn't sound too good on the commentary

Into the loan market for a strong attack minded midfielder, if we can find one, on Monday then. Sinclair possibly out for a while, Mansell one booking away from a two match ban, Lockyer 2 or 3 bookings from a similar ban.

Don't they say you create your own luck? In this case by attacking the opposition.

Is that a different injury rather than coming back too soon? He was out with a broken foot now it sounds like his leg as it seems different injuries. Although I've no idea why DC rushed him back after 3 straight wins. As far Barnet's luck perhaps it's due to defenders being unable to cope with Akinde, so resort to fouling him rather than just luck?

Nothing to do with skill , training, tactics, pace, strength etc. Akinde is, sadly for us, easily not only the biggest scorer in our div but probably also the most difficult player to face. No luck. No fortune. No spawn. Lesser players foul / haul down better players, and / or put themselves in a bad position / make poor decisions. That is what football is. You might as well get used to it as it isn't going to ever change at any level.
