Playing mostly 4-4-2 as taken us to top of the league, including 5 straight wins, I can it's wise to start tinkering now, whilst there's always this talk about TL's lack of passing ability apart from the Gateshead match how many defence splitting passes has SS made this season? Unfortunately that's not a stat which is readily available.

Is another loan possible or have we had the max already and is there a time limit on loans ?i.e How late in the season can a club sign a loan player?

I wasn't suggesting that we should start tinkering with the team just to accommodate Lockyer in a more comfortable midfield position. I was just pointing out that his distribution would be less relied upon in other formations.

Can you loan players for the play offs? I'm sure LDV would love to come back and be a hero. Something tells me this isn't feasible though, as clubs could loan in great players who's seasons have finished by not being in the play offs.

You would have to bring them in by 26th March (?) when the loan period expires.
