Gasworks would be good though why did they let Marriott enter with that logo? Obviously we couldn't allow Bristol City to be on our shirts, we'd have to protest by boycotting games until they took it away

Yeah, that would be a stupid design to put on our shirts, however you look at it.
Here's hoping for Gas World.
I think we should have our own lottery. 100 of us put a tenner in, and whoever wins can have the £1000 to enter whatever design they fancy.

I'm sure that's just the logos representing the companies that have entered and not the final design that will go on the kit.
Simple changes could be...
Marriott Bristol
or
Marriott Bristol Centre
If the Royal Oak won it would also have to tweek it's design. A vertical pub sign would take up the whole shirt!

Wasn't there a suggestion a few seasons back, probably on the old forum. Where if the fans won we've go with no advertising for a season.

Sorry to be picky but we would need 120 of us including VAT.

Good idea for the FFSC to enter the draw but as Sean says we would require 120 of us to commit to buying a raffle ticket with a one in twenty chance of winning one of the five prizes, assuming 100 entrants. That's approx half of the current membership of the FFSC and possibly some may find a total of £20 for the two a tad expensive. I for one would be happy to buy one, but would only do so on the basi s if we won all members of the FFSC would be included as a two tier financial commitment defeats the aims of our little club I.e affordable for all. UTG!
By "included' I mean not a separate roll of honour for those who paid ten pounds to enter the draw, simply those names not to be published.

100 of us. £10 each. FFSC on the Quarters or The FFSC Stand. Great idea.

When is the deadline for the draw, how long have we got to get organised?

Not sure I would want 'Brighton' on the shirt either - if they win just put 'Williams' on - happy with that

Evening all. Great idea from Cantankerous, seems popular and if we actually won would be amazing, especially if we leave the shirts blank! Ok, the money issue may not be as bad as you imagine: We wanted to Sponsor another game this season, but due to Rovers form/results they actually sold out all packages a while ago, i could have booked one, but in many ways that's not the point of The FFS, if there are other sponsors out there willing to spend we should let them and save our money for another day.......in this case , the chance of 1883 Sponsorship!! I believe we have around £500 in the kitty (Parrot please confirm young man) that will leave us needing £700. Well, if you look at our "GASBILL" thread (Hugo, please do the honours and put it in Gasworks if you would be so kind sir) we have rather a tidy sum coming in at the end of the season - if everyone pays up that is Right, what we need are a few New Members, so get Promoting the idea. Seeing as i haven't done a Gasbill yet i'll chuck in a £1 for every new member from now til seasons end ok. If we want it, we can do it...Keep the thoughts coming though. UTG

UTG Leaving the shirts blank is a great idea, and it would probably bring more interest to FFS than putting FFS on the shirt (ie everyone would want to know why they were blank) Is there a method whereby we should pay for this directly, or should we just pay another tenner to the FFS? Or something else?

Yes we have around £445 in the kitty atm.
I think its a great idea and certainly something that would promote the FFSC
Im in for a tenner
