There are so many inaccuracies in that article I don't know where to begin. Not least the dizzying spin that has been placed on what was an open message to Barnet fans, which he makes every week.
You could just as easily say DC has lost faith in his players and is panicking by bringing in a new signing after one loss. The cracks are showing and underneath there is a major crisis of confidence at the Mem. But then that would be dung journalism wouldn't it?
Stop fretting about us, you have much bigger fish to contend with.

Ooh, bit touchy there Beeman. Yes, it was an open letter to Barnet fans, saying completely the opposite to the thing he said after defeat to Forest Green. As for a "panic buy" after one loss, DC has made no secret that he has been looking for a new midfield player for two weeks, with Sinclair out for virtually the season and Mansell on nine bookings. But don't let the facts get in the way of your paranoia. PS. I guess you are a Barnet fan and PPS. Yes, we almost certainly have got bigger fish to fry in Grimsby, Macclesfield and Forest Green Of course, it could be a masterstroke by Allen to reinvigorate the troops, as I've said. I'm not sure it is, though. PPS. I am sure if he really wanted it to be a private letter to Barnet fans he could have got all your addresses. Postage wouldn't cost much

Buckaroo, why have you (twice now) discounted Eastleigh?

Buckaroo, why have you (twice now) discounted Eastleigh? I don't discount them because they have experience in their team but I do wonder if they have left themselves an awful lot to do. It doesn't always help having games in hand when you can't risk any slip ups. Even if they win them both, they are still four points behind us. You are also suggesting every team above them is going to slip up. Good outside bet, of course, because I'm sure you would get good odds, but I suspect they will make the playoffs. I certainly wouldn't want to face them if that was the case (a bit like us in 2007)
