I'm sorry but in this case isn't truegas's "post" his actions on Saturday? Which every fan of Rovers and football has the right to condemn in the strongest possible terms. If someone doesn't want personal abuse they shouldn't act in a manner that warrants it. If you want to depetsonalise it we can talk about what a selfish, idiotic cretinous person that was on Saturday but hey we all know who it was Thanks to the culprit's bragging. To say he's held his hands up is disingenuous since he started the "it was me" thread and deleted his first post he only then addressed the issue when he was getting a leathering in the comments. How many times? I wasn't bragging. I made the mistake of thinking it was already being discussed on here, but I was later told it was actually being discussed on Facebook! What is there to brag about!? I ran on the pitch then got grabbed and removed from the pitch! How did you make the mistake of thinking it was being discussed on here when you started the thread? Either you started the thread or you didn't. You can write so I assume you can read. Your eyes would have told you whether it was being discussed on here or not. Please stop lying. If you're not lying I have genuine concern for your mental well being.

Truegas you are nothing more than an attention seeker pure and simple. You don't care in the least about Bristol Rovers you have simply used them to draw attention to yourself and not content with that you used this forum as a platform to shamelessly seek further attention. I dare say when everybody gets fed up with responding to your pathetic explanations you will crawl back under your stone and dissapear well thats my hope at least. Sorry hugo I know I shouldn't attack the poster, but the actions of this idiot have damaged the club's reputation and brought us to the attention of the FA.

If you're not lying I have genuine concern for your mental well being. Right, I'll explain this as clearly as possible. As we all know, I did start the thread. I started the thread because I had received text messages on my phone, telling me that my run on to the pitch, was being discussed on the Internet. As a result, I incorrectly assumed that by ''being discussed on the internet'' they meant on the forum. I use this forum to discuss Rovers, so when I heard that it was being discussed, I instantly thought of this forum and started the thread, without looking for another thread about it. Then, shortly after, I realised that it actually hadn't been discussed on this forum, and therefore (as I did then mention on that thread), I felt embarrassed, as it had actually ended up looking like I was shouting about it, as if I was proud of what I'd done. Then, incorrectly assuming that it would delete the whole thread, I went in and deleted my original comment on the thread. I've now lost a massive part of my life. A huge part of my reason for living, has been to support Bristol Rovers. I can't do that anymore and it's all my fault. - believe me, I know that. Nobody is more angry/upset about that, than me. All of the abusive comments filled with expletives, that I have received on this forum, hold no weight to me, in comparison to how I bad I feel about being banned from supporting the club I've loved for so long. I'm guessing it's very rare for anybody to have done something like I did, and carried on talking about it on a public forum. This whole thing hasn't left my mind since last Saturday. I guess I've just wanted to try and explain in the hope that someone might understand, but it's clear that you don't. I wish I hadn't have done it.

Thanks Truegas, based on your post on the day you said it was you. I hope you're proud of yourself and the risk to the club that you have now created. I explained my point of view fully on my ''Buckle vs Ward, Clarke & Higgs'' thread. I don't have anything more to add to that, other than to say that it makes no sense at all, that it could cause any ''risk to the club''. How do they know that I'm even a Rovers supporter? I could've been an Eastleigh fan who'd gone in the wrong end - there's no way they can prove otherwise. And even if they could, the whole ''points deduction'' thing that I've seen mentioned before, is madness - it was after the final whistle so the game was not effected in any way, so it's got nothing to do with points. I apologise to any Gashead that my actions have upset. I'd never want anything other than great things for Bristol Rovers and its supporters. UTG You are a door handle of the shiniest kind.

Stupid thing to do and could cost us, unlikely to be points or a fine but in reputation. I must say though i respect TrueGas for responding and holding his hands up, it would be much easier for him to run and hide. And some of the abuse and name calling is unnecessary in my opinion. He's a Gashead who did something stupid and acknowledges it. Attack the post, not the poster are the rules on here aren't they? He did not really have much option about holding his hands up: In a previous post, he had already said he was going to let Stanley know what he felt.

Truegas you show no remorse in your actions, you fail to accept you did anything wrong, I hope the club and possibly the courts throw the book at you and make an example of you. This is just the sort of behaviour the club can do without in light of incidents earlier in the season. I hope you enjoy your Saturday afternoons shopping with the Mrs! Of course I accept that I did something wrong. Regardless of how I feel as a fan, it is entirely unacceptable to go onto the pitch. I only wish I'd been able to keep that at the forefront of my mind on Saturday, when my emotions got the better of me you know what annoys me double. that you did this over a totally NOBODY of a player. a water carrier. EDITED - Actually add another, a really serious one. Someone mentioned Heysel earlier and you said you were too young, and then later you mentioned it as if you had looked it up. Ok, so you probably know a bit now about the 1980s. Very, very sadly a LOT of football fans DIED,yes, DIED (not banned for a few years), whilst trying to just watch a simple game of football. Sadly it took a lot of deaths before stadiums were changed, fences removed, Policing/stewarding improved, and violence within stadiums was brought under control. Those deaths allowed people like you and I the wonderful freedom to watch without fences in the way and without feeling like caged animals. BUT the freedom not only came at a terrible price, but it also invested upon us the responsibility to not go beyond what would have been, in the bad old days, a massive fence.

Yes, so the 'it was me!' thread was just so that the mystery of who it was, not that anyone asked, was solved? As I did say later on in that thread, I was getting lots of text telling me that it was being talked about a lot online, so I assumed it was being talked about on here! The fact that it actually wasn't being talked about on here, made my thread look like I was shouting it out as if I was proud of what I'd done, which certainly wasn't the case. I can just imagine Maggie Smith saying 'The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about'
