Ellis was a write-off at the end of last season and is only still here because his attitude meant no other club would take him off our hands. Who do you suppose is responsible for man-managing him into a super impact sub? Ward? May be the clueless manager should attempt to turn the useless waster in to a sub.Because the damage he causes whilst on the pitch is unacceptable.

Well I didn't see that come back happening with Macc, Grimsby, FGR & Eastleigh all dropping expected points it now seems to back to a 2 horse race, with Barnet go from bottlers back to favourites again, if they win on Tuesday at Halifax I do wonder if we can catch them as they seem to have an easier run in.

Hope it's only a point in tues for barnet, seems quite likely. Then it's 3 points essential for us against Macc. That should keep it a 2 horse race for now

Didn't go but bitterly disappointed with that starting 11 - reminiscent of John Ward. I'm not sure if DC knows what his best 11 is anymore. I thought we would go much more attacking considering Barnet had a game in hand. Barnet now firm favourites.

DC knows what he's doing... I hope he reflects hard on the error of the formation for the first 60 minutes of this match. Come on Eastleigh
Come on Gas
Come on Chester
He's not got his starting line up right on many occasions - so are you really hopeful ?

It seems he's got his favourites in Lockyer & Monkhouse who've become undropable so he's now trying to fit them in the the starting 11 when they should really be on the bench.

Not confusing Lockyer and Monkhouse with a certain mis-firing so called striker are you?

Taylor scored on Saturday, not sure it'd be wise to drop him today, although Friday's a different matter! Having said that I'd still start Taylor over Monkhouse if it came to the choice.

Some favourable comments on the Halifax forumAlways interesting to read the other point of view. They say one of their stewards is claiming one of our fans bit him. FFS. Quote from the steward involved, fair play to him:- " I was the steward bitten yesterday but it isn't as bad as everyone has made out, it drew blood and took a small chunck of flesh out of my finger, I have been asked by the GSO and Police in attendance to press charges on the spectator, which I have refused to do so, as I can't be 100% sure it was intentional, or which of the spectators it was. I understand that my colleagues are quite disgusted at the incident, as I would be should it happen to them, but I have spoken with the relevant people and this will go no further. You brought a great support yesterday and nearly every supporter I spoke to was pleasant, well mannered and passionate about the game. Best of luck for the rest of the season and beyond."

Odd thing to happen and presuming it has hats off to the steward involved.

If that's halifax' best performance of the season then they're dung! I think Barnet will beat them Tuesday unfortunately Dung or not, another example of an average team raising their game against us. Let's hope they do the same vs barnet as keeping them to 1 point would be great
