They say one of their stewards is claiming one of our fans bit him. FFS. Quote from the steward involved, fair play to him:- " I was the steward bitten yesterday but it isn't as bad as everyone has made out, it drew blood and took a small chunck of flesh out of my finger, I have been asked by the GSO and Police in attendance to press charges on the spectator, which I have refused to do so, as I can't be 100% sure it was intentional, or which of the spectators it was. I understand that my colleagues are quite disgusted at the incident, as I would be should it happen to them, but I have spoken with the relevant people and this will go no further. You brought a great support yesterday and nearly every supporter I spoke to was pleasant, well mannered and passionate about the game. Best of luck for the rest of the season and beyond." blimey. didn't realise it was that bad. dragging my A level law out of my brain, drawing blood outside the body is automatically Grievous Bodily Harm isn't it?

Well I didn't see that come back happening with Macc, Grimsby, FGR & Eastleigh all dropping expected points it now seems to back to a 2 horse race, with Barnet go from bottlers back to favourites again, if they win on Tuesday at Halifax I do wonder if we can catch them as they seem to have an easier run in. sadly I agree that Barnet are back in the driving seat big time. They have a potentially 'easier' run-in and these last 2 games have really cost us. Really really set us back, even though a late draw must be morale boosting in one way. I know we keep on saying this but Tuesday is a massive night for us. if they go 3 points clear, and effectively have an extra point for GD, it will be really tough. It's like having to score a late converted try AND a penalty in rugby. HOWEVER, your first sentence gives us hope. Every week the lge throws up unexpected results. I genuinely think any of the top half can beat each other. And I think that at the end of the season games against lower teams fighting for survival are a real lottery. Some (e.g. Alfreton & Nuneaton) are also on a bit of a roll.

From my jury service I thought it was malicious wounding same thing/same section (section 20). typical english/welsh law. hard to put exact words on it. But obviously wouldn't be treated as seriously as what the public think of as GBH

Oh right. Surprised the steward was so good about it. I suppose if it was something like he had his arm round the blokes neck and fingers over his mouth...
