Mildenhall 5 has not regained that air of invincibility

Leadbitter 7 his pace is an asset both in defence and attack
McChrystal 6 at fault for their second but was often the man to mop up the Halifax breakaways
Parkes 6 pitch did not suit his marauding style the ball got stuck in the mud a lot
Lockyer 5 did not look after the ball well
Brown 7 good second half was found numerous times by Lines, excellent strike for the first goal

Mansell 2 worryingly has hit a poor patch of form, lost every 50/50, had a chance to secure all three points and blew it. Hopefully the enforced lay off that the suspension he's triggered by the 10th booking will enable him to recharge the batteries for the final few games.
Lines 7 touch of class, became more influential as the game went on, excellent vision for the pass to Ellis to set up the equaliser
Clarke 5 did a lot of the unseen stuff well, one 'Ollie special' shot in the first half was well saved by Glennon, passing, like Lockyer, let him down.

Taylor 3 frustrating day for him, being good enough to get in the right places but unable to convert the chances that came his way because of it. Again spent a lot of time on the deck, yes, the ref did not help by ignoring infringements if they were not caused by feet (pushing, holding, backing in, shirt pulling etc) but MT goes to ground too easily.
Monkhouse 4 once again we are grateful for Monky's versatility, unfortunately in this match he was unable to bring his A-game to either his starting striker role or the midfield role he completed the match fulfilling

Harrison 8, best I've seen him play, really gave their defence something to think about, almost scored with his self created first effort and then led the line and was a handful throughout the second period, control of the Lines pass with his left foot followed by the right foot volley past Glennon was sublime.
Easter 6, found the gaps between the midfield and the defensive lines of Halifax well and provided good link up play. The ploughed field wasn't conducive to his style but I dare say a lot of Halifax's players would say the same!
Balanta 6, important contribution from Angelo here - we bossed the midfield as they tired and he made sure less balls were wasted.

DC 4, treats each game as a project but out-thought himself with this one. We handed them the initiative by picking an Eleven that did not intimidate and although we started brighter than we did against Eastleigh it was difficult to see how we could impose our game on them with that line up. Fair play to DC that he changed it all around after the interval but the horse had bolted by then.
Ref 3, standard officiating at this level, miss half of the incidents, give a third of those you do see to the wrong team, invent your own rules when you can't remember what it says in rule book
Gasheads 6 good turn out but understandably subdued by the line up and circumstances

Halifax 6, gave as good as they got, found the canned 'atmosphere' at set pieces rather odd, presumably that was to gee up the crowd who were more pre occupied at singing what a waste of money at our subbed players, which, being two youth team products and a free transfer from FGR, was rather ironic!

I was in hospitality too. I sat during the first half and stood on the balcony area for the second. The ref was a disgrace from my view and of the gasheads around me. As I said before I went down to the tunnel at the end and let him know my thoughts.
