Labour will win the people on benefits vote as well as people on benefits who cannot be bothered to work always vote Labour as Labour look after them. I can assure you this person on benefits will not vote labour or green. next bi im very stubborn and as such would rather have a bit less money ,than a party in power who have continually shown that the squander any wealth and prosperity in the country, before anyone kicks off and calls i a scrounger, i've worked since i left school and worked until my brain fried as a result i'm unemployable and i for one am grateful that in this country i have a roof over my head and food, yes it's difficult to live on what we get and will be harder under a conservative government but all it means is we have to budget accordingly, and if that means less food in the cupboards so be it as long as we dont get behind on bills. The real kicker is when some people become unemployed they seem to get their knickers in a twist as they cant have the lifestyle they are accustomed too, they have to budget to survive, it's mainly those people who moan the loudest , i for one am Dam grateful i live in a country that provides a basic standard of living whilst i am out of work

My mother is in a home with Alzheimer's, my dad has cancer, my sister has MS. All have been looked after by the wonderful health service. Increases of pay in public services over last five years has been abysmal. In 2010 we were told by tories that we were all in it together as we recovered from the world wide banking crisis. So this morning we see the super rich (over 100 million in wealth) have doubled their wealth. They will have the freedom to choose if they have any of the challenges you and I and our families and many others have had. Millions do not have a choice. If tories win in 10 days then millions will continue to struggle with their services while the very wealthy sprinkle a few odd crumbs to keep us plebs just about happy enough. I really isn't good enough. Britain can do much better than that. Rich the point i was making to your last post was that labour are claiming to do stuff thats already being done as evidenced by me and others including yourself, it's also funny watching milliband personally attacking everyone in his speeches. Really worrying if he becomes pm

Really worrying if he becomes pm There is a huge difference between the labour approach and the conservative approach. Miliband is the most positive in my view and the polls back that up. The tories are running a negative campaign. If miliband becomes pm them I think the majority will have a much better life. The wealthy the ones with the yachts have doubled their wealth whilst millions have struggled. In fact I'm far from worried about miliband - I'm quite excited. We are not going to agree but we can do so much better than what we have done in last 5 years!

Another Greece. Good fear tactics! Fear not my friend! Labour have a better plan that is fully costed. The tories say they will find 8billion for health service but don't say where it will come from. They will continue austerity and Mr and Mrs average and their kids will pay heavily for it. Some will be ok whatever happens but the majority need labour to win. Labour just need to get the vote out. Will it be enough. Don't know. One thing we do know is that the tories just haven't got enough votes to win outright. Cameron out!

Asking Labour to control the countries economy is like asking the pyrocondriac who set fire to your house to put it out ! Anyone who seriously think that Labour are the answer are seriously deluded.

Asking Labour to control the countries economy is like asking the pyrocondriac who set fire to your house to put it out ! Anyone who seriously think that Labour are the answer are seriously deluded. In 2010 the tories claimed the economy was bankrupt. Growth then was 3 times faster than it is now. Output from manufacturing and construction has decreased this quarter. The UK is not the fastest growing in the developed countries. It's the same as eurozone! The institute of fiscal studies have just announced that the 12 billion cuts to welfare could not be carried out without hitting working families or the sick. Meanwhile the bosses wages are soaring while workers struggle on. I think that millions will vote for labour fresh in the knowledge that their vote will help the many not the few. There is a real choice. Make it wisely.

The economy is not the only thing that needs looking at. Other things matter too! If it was just the economy labour would definitely win.
Labour are the only ones with a fully costed plan. The Tory plan is we've made savings before. Trust us. We will and can do it again. When we win - we will tell you where the cuts will come from. Why do people fall for this nonsense! You can't trust the tories!
The better off just keep getting better. It isn't fair!

Sorry, but your warped envy regarding anyone who has something you do not have is totally wrong. "It isn't fair" you cry.....that's the call of those who want everything given to them on a plate, instead of working bloody hard to achieve the things you want.
"If it was just the economy labour would definitely win." - That is a blatant lie and you know it.
You talk about cuts, but Labour have admitted they will make cuts as well....why is that? Maybe it's because under the last Labour government spending was out of control!
Labour's 'fully costed plan' involves using a 'Bankers Bonus Tax' or a 'Mansion Tax'............the Bankers already pay tax on their bonus, so the 'all new Bankers Bonus Tax' will raise how much? and how much will the 'Mansion Tax' raise? Between the two of them these headline grabbing taxes will raise diddly squat, but the gullible believe the spin from Labour. Yes, if you believe Labour, you are gullible.

I guess you have made your mind up all ready Nobby. Fair enough.
The very well off just don't get it do they. Working people are not envious of successful people. Their values are so different. As it happens, I'm very fortunate in my private life and would be one of those who should vote Tory. Well I don't, never had and proud that I wouldn't.
I'm a great believer in everyone making it. Millions will vote labour because they know that labour did change things for working people and have always done.
If the tories are so wonderful why can't they win in the key swing seats. It's because their record in last five years isn't worth defending. The debt has gone up and it isn't working.
Should people who are lucky enough to own a house worth 2 million pay a little bit more for an improved health service. I think they should. Interesting enough in the London swing seats labour are in the lead.
A society where everyone can make it. A society where the strong help the weak, is a better one. I warn you not to grow old, I warn you not to .......I'll go and get the quote...

Labour had to sort out the mess the last time the tories were in power. When did the Tories last win an election. Luckily it was years ago! If Margaret Thatcher is re-elected as prime minister on Thursday, I warn you. I warn you that you will have pain – when healing and relief depend upon payment. I warn you that you will be quiet – when the curfew of fear and the gibbet of unemployment make you obedient. I warn you that you will be home-bound – when fares and transport bills kill leisure and lock you up. I'm on my own here!

The British taxpayer spent billions saving the banks in 2008. It was a sort of nationalisation. Since then, many normal families either have had no rise or improvement in their living standards. The bankers have bonuses far in excess of what a normal fan earns in a year. And that's just the bonus! The people at the top ( that will be less than 1 in a hundred rovers fan base or even 1 in a thousand ) have escaped this 5 years. They should pay more. That's fair and its right. At some point, the investments labour made in the banks will end up providing an income or profit for the country. Well done Labour!

One more thing. We spent 850 billion pounds saving the banks in 2008. Why? Because savers right across the country would have lost their money had labour allowed the banks to fail. Labour didn't cause the crisis.
We need to get rid of these tories so we give the majority a better Britain.

Good news Nobby. It seems like your last sentence was just a view not a fact. Have you seen the latest ITV poll. Looks like the tories are in trouble. All that money, all the newspaper support and they perform like this in the seats that matter. Millions seem to be getting to right. If this was any normal election, Labour would be pretty delighted with our latest poll results.
In the top 50 Conservative held Labour targets seats that we polled, there's a swing of 3.5 % away from the Tories.
That would be enough, if translated into seats, for Labour to take 44 out of the 50 - so that's places like Carlisle, Ipswich and Keighley turning red.
Happy Days

One minute you want to hang every banker and take every penny off of them, the next you claim it was an 'investement' to bail out the banks? You seem a mite confused!
Here is a fact for you. Every single Labour government ever elected, left office with unemployment higher than when they entered office.

I'm on my own here! Quick question rich as you had to bring up Maggie what was your take on scargill at that time , to answer a few of your points below I warn you that you will have pain – when healing and relief depend upon payment. (NHS was still free, but you could get private health care if you wanted it which is a good thing) I warn you that you will have ignorance – when talents are untended and wits are wasted, when learning is a privilege and not a right. this is totally wrong, when i was at school i was a year or more ahead in knowledge but held back, at least now talented kids are recognised and can be moved forward, but that is entirely down to the school, lets also not forget that in school everything was competitive, from the classroom to the sports field. which was naturally carried into your post school life, even those who dint manage to get exams still managed to find legal ways to earn, successive generations have lost that edge as schools now worry more about hurting the feelings of pupils than readying em for work, I believe free education should end after school and uni should be paid for the idea of uni is to lead to a better more skilled job, however degrees seemed to be dumbed down nowadays so employers take less notice of them, when i left school you could do a yop or yts ,if you couldn't find a job great as you got used to working and got some practical skills and college course, which for some led to a full time job or you had the confidence to seek workI warn you that you will have poverty – when pensions slip and benefits are whittled away by a government that won’t pay in an economy that can't pay. I've always been poor so it doesn't worry me too much, just makes me appreciate every thing i own a little bit more, but this applies to all parties, dont forget the part Europe has played in robbing pensions as far as i remember we prop up euro pensions out of our pot (correct me if im wrongI warn you that you will be cold – when fuel charges are used as a tax system that the rich don't notice and the poor can't afford. C'mon i grew up with ice inside my bedroom in the winters, did it do me harm nah just put on extra clothes during the day and more blankets during the night, this seems a forgotten art, the heating in our house only went on 4 or 5 times in the last 12 months as we couldnt afford it, no biggie just put on more clothes and a higher tog quilt I warn you that you must not expect work – when many cannot spend, more will not be able to earn. When they don't earn, they don't spend. When they don't spend, work dies. This is true under any party not just tory exclusive and again more so under Labour when the country was held to ransom I warn you not to go into the streets alone after dark or into the streets in large crowds of protest in the light Oh yeah it's still safer out there now than it was in the past, the right to protest was eroded by everyone not just Maggie, in fact i remember Maggie believing in democracy as she told the NF mp at the time that although she hated what hew stood for she would fight to the death to defend his right to be there, nowadays every party seem to say if you are not on board you shouldn't be allowed in parliament more so labourI warn you that you will be quiet – when the curfew of fear and the gibbet of unemployment make you obedient. The reason for that is what oh yeah i forgot Labour and the Unions I warn you that you will be home-bound – when fares and transport bills kill leisure and lock you up. Theres these standard issue body parts that most are given they are called legs use em, cant get my head around this driving kids to school we mostly had to walk were still here, I'm talking about abledbodies people hereI warn you that you will borrow less – when credit, loans, mortgages and easy payments are refused to people on your melting income. A Good idea imo as lets be honest how many of you would be better of and more healthy if you wernt in debtAnd lets be honest if you watch milliband in his campaigning he's like a small petulant child, personally attacking everyone around him, started on the snp woman as he thought she was going to help the tories. had a go at cameron blaming him for the death of the boat people, he need to look at the war criminal blair and his own party before calling out others, he's more slippery than brown
