My S3 is starting to play up so was looking at getting a new phone. I seen the S6 advertised which looks a lovely phone and I was sure I was going to get it. It is availiable to pre order and released in a few weeks time.
However, I have no found out that the battery is not easily removable, there is no sd card slot and it is not waterproof. This is quite a kick in the teeth for me as I am a Samsung over Apple man and the removable battery and an sd card slot were two things that made Samsung and some other android phones stand out over apple to me. Personally, feel like this is a big mistake for Samsung as this could be a deal breaker for me and many others I would imagine...

Does seem an odd decision to make it difficult to change a battery and not to have an sd slot. Perhaps they have huge confidence in battery technology and a hard drive that far exceeds that of an sd card? Lovely looking bit of kit though.

Just seen the contracts with 3 as I want unlimited internet. If they think I am paying £49 a month for it then they can f off. Probably gonna get an S5...

S5 was a disaster for Samsung, unless you really want a waterproof phone the HTC M8 or new M9 look better options.
The S6 comes with 32gb of storage which as always been big enough for my needs. If you need a spare battery you can always carry a power pack, but wireless charging will be everywhere soon by the looks of things.
Have to agree though the S6 looks £100 over priced to me.

Phones have't improved that much over the last few years in general in my opinion. The S6 is hardly cutting edge except for looking quite nice. In fact, they have took somethings away!

True, but the S6 has a new processor plus new high speed memory, it should be a real step up but apart from being a bit faster it's still just a phone. We all seem to have got obsessed with having the latest phones. My S2 still works OK when I need it in emergencies.

I would have been fine keeping my S3 if it didn't break.

My S4 is now playing up massively and was offered the early upgrade thing by Three but after reading the battery isn't removable I'm not sure where to go. If the phone freezes then istm that all you can do is wait for the battery to die.
I've never been a fan of I Phones as they blatantly hold back on things like camera quality, then just chuck half a megapixal on the next model and think that justifies charging £600+ for it.

Problem is Samsung have now joined them, it's hard to believe they are charging more for the S6 than Apple want for a iPhone 6. As far as the S6 freezing you can apparently soft reset them by pressing the power & volume key for 10 seconds.

I've always had some mental block against Iphones. Not sure why. Seems like S6 is the best of a bad bunch.

Not sure but my two kids & wife have never had problems with thier iPhones freezing for so long that they've had to wait for the battery to drain, which could take a few days if it's not being used/was fully charged when it happened!
