You may well be Tbone, but you deserve the same treatment as everyone else here. I disagree with you singling Mattteeeee out (doesn't mean I don't partly agree with you about him at times) but you don't deserve the abuse. Come on RD, why do we all have to suffer TB's constant abuse of Taylor, we can all see it wasn't Taylor's fault we didn't win today? Why do you allow his trolling on every match thread? Seconded! Trolling is just as bad, a form of bullying even... |

A point away against Macclesfield isn't too bad.
The disappointing thing from today was the performance rather than the result. Not enough incisive play and we really struggled to get in behind Macclesfield. Defense also seemed more jittery than usual.

Second or third makes no real difference, it's Barnet we can't afford to lose contact with. Plus Grimsby's still have a difficult looking game V Gateshead to play.

I very rarely agree with TBone but he is fairly accurate regarding MT.His profligancy in front of goal has cost us numerous points this season,i know Easter misse a couple today but not a one on one with the keeper,how many is that now this season? far too many and boy did we miss super sub today

I only saw the second half but from what I saw we were by far the better team. The pitch looked heavy and Maccs set out to make it difficult for us rather than put their stamp on the game. It was scrappy but we deserved to win. It is frustrating but we have nothing to fear from the run in and the play-offs, should we be in them. Easter will have better days for us and could have had a couple. Taylor played well as usual. Biggest positive for me was the midfield which looked very solid and Lines was our biggest threat. With Mansell to come back we have good options. Got to keep at it, we have some quality in comparison to the teams around us and we can make that count. Biggest frustration still is that our awful first three games may well cost us automatic promotion. UTG!
