Nothing is over yet.
We can do no more than win our remaining games.
Worse case we hit playoffs bang in form, best case Barnet drop points.
Missing out on automatic may affect us psychologically but no-one will want us in playoffs and I believe we are best team in the league.

Sat on my Todd with a Thatchers on Glos road. Can't shake the feeling of loss tbh, despite a very competent performance by the boys. Gateshead and Kiddy gone missing, today feels like the day we ended up in the playoffs. We've let Barnet of the hook too many times. Oh well, be seeing you all at Wembley? What on earth are you talking about? We're one point off the top with six points to play for. This is complete b*ll*cks. Are you Terry from Coleford or something? All I've heard today is moaning and people talking about who they don't fancy us against in the play offs. Even in second gear we look like greased lightening. It P*sses me right off. Why do Rovers fans always have to be so flipping defeatist and miserable?

The playoffs are no bad thing and I'm proud of us for getting there first time and I believe we will give whoever we play a run for their money. Just don't think we'll go all the way now. Don't think them at makes me miserable particularly tbh. Have a nice night.

What utter rubbish, we are playing better football than at any time this season and the pitches are becoming perfect for our passing game. It's going to take an hell of a team to beat us in the Play Offs, I can't see FGR/Macclesfield or Eastleigh beating us over two legs, then once we get to Wembley whose going to live with Lines/Taylor/Harrison & Easter's pace certainly not Grimsby!

Do you really think we are licked?, I still think we have a chance of top spot. If we were in Barnet's position would you say we're certs to win the title?. I know how you feel after winning well and still losing ground, but we can still do this.

In my opinion we are unlikely to win the title now. I am basing this on today's results and the lack of remaining games. I am not a negative fan, for evidence of this feel free to read my posts. I certainly don't think it's impossible but I am preparing myself for Wembley. I honestly fail to see what is controversial about that.

I mean ten goals in three games - that's relegation form by anybody's standards. Human beings are incapable of accurately perceiving and measuring risk - depending on circumstance they will always either over estimate it to themselves and under estimate it in others or vice versa. If we were in the relegation zone one point off the team in the place above with six points to play for would you have us down already? "Licked" as you put it.

Just disagreeing with your assertion that we're "licked" on the basis that it's totally wrong both in sporting and mathematical terms.

In mathematical terms, Barnet are a point ahead of us and face a team that lost 3 - 0 to a relegation zone team and are rapidly falling apart and another team that just lost 3 - 0, at home. Sorry you have such a low tolerance for other fan's opinions that you feel the need to declare me "defeatist" and "miserable" based on my differing predictions based on these results.

I am a very positive and upbeat person but I say let's all look forward to the playoffs now. Let's give ourselves 2 extra weeks to get used to it so that when they come around we are prepared and ready to wipe the floor with FGR/Macc/Eastleigh/Woking. I am looking forward to a trip to Wembley and crying my eyes out when the boys lift the play off trophy....... Can't wait

We're still in this us and barnet were massive favorites for today's games. Different story next Saturday. UTG. More realist I think.

Barnet were miles clear not that long ago. You sound like those Barnet clowns that came on here congratulating us on winning the league. Do in another 10 Thatchers and get wound up for the last two games.

The fact that Barnet are playing a team that lost three nil has nothing to do with maths. Mathematically there are six points to play for and we are one behind. I don't see what my tolerance or otherwise of other fans' opinions or anything else has got to do with it. Your problem is with the ancient Greeks, not me. If you want to argue about it, take it up with Archimedes and Pythagoras.

Moderators required because one poster thinks we should throw in the towel another disagrees??
If we were Wycombe this time last season they'd be playing Conference football now not us, the last thing our players need to do now his take their foot of the gas.
