CHESTER FC are delighted to announce the signing of central defender Matty Brown.
The 23 year-old has turned down an offer from Bristol Rovers to sign a one year contract at the Swansway Chester Stadium where he spent a month on loan last season – making seven appearances.
Brown was released by League Two Champions Chesterfield after he made the step up from Evo-Stik League Premier Division side Marine. Having began his career with Manchester City, the 6' 3" defender joined Marine from Northwich Victoria in June 2011.
