None. Which is really annoying as I'm incredibly impatient during the transfer window / summer.
Say what you want about buckle but I did enjoy his signings!!

I just hope its a contractual issue rather than us not having worked out the budget or any targets

I guess we will see some movement once May is done and dusted.

I'm pretty sure there is usually a dull void of nothingness during May-early June where players are all off sunning themselves and contracts are still running to an end. I am sure DC is telling the truth when he says he is busy on the phone to agents and clubs. We just need something else to do for the next few weeks till the World Cup starts. Some UWE news would be most welcome now though... I am very keen to see what sort of calibre players sign though and how many we do end up bringing in.

Is this where the New Signings sign in? Hey Jon, I hope you are well and getting over the disappointments of the 'R' word, Forum closure and contempt shown by the board (and the after thought thank you they gave you)

Pierce Mitchell, a defender released by the sh**, could be the first name on the signings front. Reported today he will be one of 6 or 7 trialists to join the squad in pre season after impressing at the end of last season.
Also says in the piece in the western daily press online that we could expect around 10 signings (maybe more if players leave). Interesting summer ahead if nothing else.

Young defender Pierce Mitchell is to be offered the opportunity to earn a permanent contract at Bristol Rovers. Mitchell, 18, was released by Bristol City at the end of last season after coming to the end of a two-year scholarship. He immediately impressed for Rovers when played out of position in a development team game against Swindon Town at the start of April. The right-back or right-sided central defender has been training at Rovers' day-to-day Cribbs Causeway headquarters ever since, and was involved in the physical assessment tests on the final day before the players were released for their summer break. Once the players have returned for pre-season training on June 30, Mitchell will be one of six or seven trialists manager Darrell Clarke will cast his eye over as he attempts to fill the one or two places likely to be left in his new-look squad. Clarke is looking to add at least ten players to his squad, but could be forced to add more dependent on how the futures of some of his existing players pan out. I hope we don't have another season where our average age for the starting 11 is less than 21.
