How about Monkhouse up front with Taylor and Leadbitter out wide?

You would expect striaght swap with Blisset up top. The starting 11 is quite settled now and we dont have a very strong bench either at the moment so its lucky we are not picking up any injuries.

You would imagine its Blissett.
Is Lucas back with us to fill the bench?
I'm very worried about us for Sunday now.

Play on the floor, pass and move, press high, discipline in defence, score early and we will cane them. Expect them to come out and play very aggresively, we should be able to exploit that 2-0

FGR had a 20 minute spell when they asserted a bit of pressure on us last night. That was it! We've let in 14 league goals at home all season. If Lines & Mansell run the midfield as they did last night (at times it was a stroll), we'll be fine! If they score first, they will also be under immense pressure! Relax! It's all about composure now!

I am a bit worried for Mansell as he went home with a tight hamstring last night.............

Then we have Clarke for Mansell, we're never going to get all the way to Wembley with last night's starting 11. As a bonus Gosling played well again last night.

Im worried about our lack of striking options should we need to change the game.
1-0 is a slender lead when you only have one of your best 3 front men available.

FGR are completely reliant on fatty Parkin , even without Ellis were twice the team.

We have not lost at home by more than one goal this season have we? Infact, correct me if I am wrong, but the only game we lost by two goals was v Barnet very early on right? That might as well have been last season as far as I care

As long as midfield do their job and as long as we get some decent wing play and the ball gets played on the deck (notice all the pressure on us came when we were playing long ball last night?) then I'm comfortable even with my footballing idol on a ban.

Before the game I was only worried that our one potential weak area might have been Gosling but he had another great game. Other than that we did them in every position. How we only got one point off them in the league is anyone's guess.

I wouldn't start with bliss id have balanta or monkhouse with Taylor. If we play bliss we'll go long ball and we need to play football not the FG way. First half last night was on the floor and we tore them a new one. Second half we played their way and it could have ended horribly. We're much better than them so let's keep it on the deck eh.

Totally agree. We completely sunk to thier level. I would also consider starting Balanta up top as this will encourage us to keep the ballon the deck.

No way would I put Monkhouse up front. Halifax away proved he can't play there, he's also such an effective unit on the left with Brown. They rarely give possession away and are both always back to defend straight away. Our goal last night came from a Brown cross-field pass after Monkhouse had worked some room on the touchline.
Got to be Blissett (don't feel Balanta has the fitness to start) and Lucas onto the bench.

Blissett up top Sunday, and I'd love to see leadbitter back in at right back for the final, his pace on that big Wembley pitch would have a massive positive effect

I'd be very surprised if it's not just a straight swap Blissett for Ellis. Anything else is a risk we don't need to take.
