Just asking for other opinions but after his man magnment skills with Tom Parkes and outing others in interviews last season, is he the new Paul Buckle? He seems very sure of himself. Personally I didn't buy into his on the final day of the season but I hope to be proved wrong.

Sorry to change the subject Somerset, but what's the news on the "new dad" front ?
Back to the question - not sure he's got the experience and I certainly didn't like our playing style in thos elast games! Personally, if he is to be the manager I think he needs an experienced, wise assistant alongside him. Doubt if the club could afford it though.

On the new dad front I have an ten day old boy who my four year old is already been telling him about Bristol Rovers! If only he knew the truth! ( I've been taking him to sat games for two years! Evil daddy!!) Thanks for asking, hopefully with the wife's permission I'll make it Tuesday. I'm not normally under the thumb !!! I agree he needs an experienced assistant to guide him yet not undermine him, I just worry that some of the games it was like headless chicken, let's all attack at no costs.

Well done to you all mate - enjoy your kids and forget about the Rovers ! As long as they don't become city supporters that's all I'll say.

No chance, my neighbor is a city fan and my son goes mad at the mention of city! Like a man possessed ! Bearing in mind I'm in city and Yeovil land he is always in his kit, first choice every time. (Proud dad!) hopefully see you Tuesday

Time will tell with this lad, he definately talks the talk. I certainly like his recruitment policy, no more journeymen not giving two hoots about us.

I suspect we will learn a lot more about his man-management during last season if/when the 'true' story about the off-field antics comes out.

There were no off the field antics last season. It was all just stuff made up by keyboard warriors.

He is still without a club and our lot told us outright lies. You don't go from having 4 higher league clubs watching you regularly to having none and no offers for no reason but our lot think us stupid and treat us in that manner

And do we know he hasn't been offered contracts elsewhere yet?

And do we know he hasn't been offered contracts elsewhere yet? As I said he had Boro, Barnsley, Crawley and Derby watching him. I am sure that one of them would have had him by now. They were around regularly Harley. Sorry mate but I do not buy into the no knowledge as our board say. It is up to you to make your own decisions. I rated the guy BTW. Always saw him as a player who had vision above most of the others but had no one running into the spaces. I believe everyone deserves a second chance but something is awry when he has not got a club yet.
