Sounds like he has been working hard to get himself fit for the new season and his mate/fitness coach says he is expecting big things from him this season and that his attitude has changed and is fully concentrating on his football.
Clean slate from me, as I definitely believe he has the potential to make a proper career in the game.

Will still take 20+ good performances for me to rate him, but he can start by forcing himself into DC's team and playing well...

Any proof will be in the pudding. I would love to swap places but these kids don't see that.

I believe everyone of us deserves a second chance. I am pretty watered off at how he behaved and what he said and just at the time when we truly needed every single player to fight to their very last breath. I hope he proves me wrong but I feel he has a few wrong people around him. All of can change though so let's see if the guy can man up and show us what he can do. I did notice, in our first game at Exeter, that when he git the ball he was being managed by several other players instead of playing instinctively. An on form Ellis is a decent player with a good shot on him. Come on lad, let's be having you

Make no mistake, IMO the only reason he is still here is because nobody else wants him. For me, he's always been massively overrated and if I'm honest I'm pretty gutted he'll still be here next season. Will take a good 20+ decent performances from him for me to even slightly change my mind. That said, I'm prepared to give him those 20+ games to prove he's hungry and that he deserves a second chance.

Hopefully that guess (which is probably not far from the truth) might wake him up...a poor professional footballer is equivalent to those semi-pros in the Conference who make as much money in their day-jobs and play football for fun/glory... ...if you want to play football for a living it's much easier to stand out than if you work 39 hours a week as a car-salesman/carpenter/plumber/sparky to pay the rent. Rovers need 15+ squad players who have talent and skill and want to do the job they are paid handsomely for...otherwise they really should start night-school classes in something else
