Interesting that you would blame NH if the the new build goes t's up, nothing to do with Sainsbury and the Green party then ? That's not how I read it...the blame is at NH's feet is not keeping the fans informed about the current state of the UWE stadium (and therefore allowing rumour and *even more* distrust of the board to grow). It was more than a month after we needed to start building to be ready for 2015/16 that they told us officially we wouldn't be ready for 2015/16...anyone with a calendar and basic maths knew, and we all knew the reasons why, but for some reason it took weeks for the 'official announcement'. 9 months ago I was convinced the problem was TrasHorfield/the Green Party. I looked at some of their tactics and assumed they were rank-amateurs...and whilst they might not have won overall, they got a credible draw against out BoD who are supposed to be 'experts' in this sort of thing...

I think in fairness Newmarket that BR's point is, we we're told it was signed/sealed/definite, if and i repeat if that is not the case we should have been told.
Basically the point overall is, tell us/keep us informed. Our club is at its lowest in its HISTORY and the possibility of our "Promised Land" not happening would be catastrophic, Our supporters deserve better communication they really do.
They are encouraging speculation - simple as that. UTG

If you did not know the answer and were waiting for the buyer to wriggle out or stay in............what would you tell the supporters ?

If you did not know the answer and were waiting for the buyer to wriggle out or stay in............what would you tell the supporters ? That we (or our legal team) didn't know how to write a decent contract with massive penalties for one party pulling out?

The BOD must know the terms of our contract.
They could say
"we have a water tight deal"
"Yes, they could pull out but we are protected by penalty clauses"
"we have contingency plans if the worse should happen"
Instead we get nothing and then Tony will say "the sainsburies deal only fell through in the last 20 mins so we have no idea what we are doing"

Hugo, I suppose they could. Maybe they will......we are still guessing. I know the board are far from perfect but also they are far better than some, we are also on a mission to implode if we are not careful

I agree with you.
I am not a board basher by any means, but by saying nothing about anything is making it really hard to know the truth (or at least their side of things) and even harder to defend them.
We are left to guess/speculate/invent whats going on. The devil makes work for idle thumbs and it could so easily be put to bed.

Hugo, I see your point, do we really need to know the ins and out of a cats bottom to move on ? They as with most BOD's have never told us much, I just dont want the Press and TV laughing at us any more than they need. We seem to like hanging our dirty washing in very public places.

Have tweeted club to ask for clarification. Twitter is one of their 'official' communication mediums so might get a response.

No, we don't need to know. I don't really care about the review going public for example but I think there are somethings the fans should be informed about.

Good man, however plenty asked the same question yesterday through "the appropriate channels" Even a little " The club have noted your concerns and will get an official reaction to the news story as soon as we are able" this is simple stuff, i'm not attacking anyone, just frustrated we don't learn, at the SC EGM Barry Bradshaw said communication with supporters needs improvement. Lets hope today we get some response. UTG
