I did hear they also came unstuck at the Globe? Real shame as I never saw any animosity before or after the game.

Not sure what else you could expect, Grimsby looks rougher than Bedminster and that takes a lot to beat!

I did see a big guy in a tee shirt being restrained at the top of the concourse he was sat on the floor with stewards or police round him.

Sorry to hear about your son, I hope that the bloke who threw beer at you got nicked too. Seen if before where people keep on provoking, then get off scott free when they finally get a reaction. Didn't have to walk far from our hotel to the stadium, so thankfully only came across decent sorts en route.

Fair play to your son, im sure many many others would have done the same in his position i know i would, far from feeling sad or upset over it be bloody proud that your son puts your safety over his own,

Didn't they cause a lot of trouble at our place first game? Seem to recall they were looking for it going up Glos RD, then got a good hiding outside The Vic?

Thanks but no they were not even interested in what i had to say the Grimsby fans slipped away they did not even grab the one my son had the altercation with who was the main villain in all this. As i say he missed game was not let out until 9.15pm still will not let it ruin a great day otherwise.

Their were a few grimsby lads singing while they were walking down wembley way the same time as us, started getting a bit aggressive when we were singing back at them... but as I was with 40 blokes from banjo and another 20 from kings wood I wasn't too concerned, plus I was on my 6th stella of the day so I would have been right up for battering some fish, almost wish they had started If it hadn't of meant I would have missed the game!

My only "contact" with them was when we passed one of their coaches outside the stadium as we were getting to our respective coach parks. W4nker signs from everyone on their coach in our direction. Plenty of kids on our coach including my 4 young ones. No need. Saw a lot of them on our half of the stadium too (outside turnstiles I mean). No trouble caused, but again, no need for it. No major love in here. We finished 5 points ahead of them and they failed to beat us in 3 attempts. Happy that the right team are promoted!

20 plus of us in the globe grimsby fans were quiet as mice, as soon as we drank up and crossed the double carriage way they started to find there voices, then heard later they started playing up.

My lad was coming from Norwich and a coach load turned up at Watford station. They had no colours on but some had blue sweat shirts on and they threw a can at him which just missed his car, he was on his own and in colours.
